I am a Keralite as far as I know, Masala dosa is Tamil Nadu dish,widely eaten in Kerala ,Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh and appreciated throughout India. Kerala’s main breakfast is Puttu. Vellappum and EdiAppam . Khalid next time you visit Kerala try Kerala breakfast 😁😁

King of Udupi, who ruled present day Karnataka, was a great chef himself. It's mentioned in some narrations of the Mahabharata that, King of Udupi, cooked food for the soldiers of Pandavas & Kuvravas during the 18 days Mahabharata war. Dose, idli, rice dishes, sambars were famous even then. The origin of all southern Indian food is Karnataka.

In Somalia 🇸🇴 we call this “Canjeelo” and we have it as a breakfast every morning. It is one of best known Somali foods. 🇸🇴😘

Hello. There was this Kannada( one of the many Indian languages)speaking chalukyan dynasty,which ruled present day Karnataka ( a southern Indian State). One of it's famous Kings, Someshwara-lll, had written a Sanskrit treatise named ' Maansollaasa' meaning' that which makes the mind happy. In that he has mentioned of 'dose'( what others call dosa) which were savored by people of the region since many centuries. The treatise also has mention of ' Idli,varities of vades,chutney, uppittu, rice dishes & sweets, consumed even today. That means dose 'ದೋಸೆ' has it's origin from Karnataka, a southern State........

Great honor from you Mr. Khalid. A small historical information wants to share with you about this Giant Dhosa. Actually this was introduced in Chennai VGP Amusing Park in 1980's. That time they offer price money if someone eat alone. But mostly it's served for families and they are enjoyed. Now it's popular in Dubai also. Dosai didn't originate in Kerala. It's found in Kerala restaurant just as it's found in any restaurant in other parts of India because anything that's delicious sells everywhere. Dosai originated in Tamil Nadu and is made by people since the 1st century

The greatness to a Dosa is not bcz of how thin it's is, it's actually mistaken. Many don't know how to make it crispier outside while it has a little body inside to act like absorbent to chutney and Sambhar, that's why they make it ultra thin which makes it crispy but doesn't give out the flavour of dosa when you savour it. Btw Dosa is mainly from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Called Dhose in Karnataka and Dosai in Tamil Nadu.

According to historian P. Thankappan Nair, dosa originated in the Udupi town of present-day Karnataka.[1][2][3] However, there are also references according to food historian K. T. Achaya, that dosa (as dosai) was already in use in the ancient Tamil country around the 1st century AD, as per references in the Sangam literature.[4] Nevertheless, Dosa is a dish whose origin is from the southern part of India.

I went to this place twice in 4 days and i cant explain how good of a breakfast you can have here. I especially loved their mini idlis and sambar . Amazing.

Asalam elkum khalid we like your videos. Let me tell you little short story. One day i went to Indian restaurant to order tea and found too much people came for tea. One guy made for one meter tea but tea maker couldn't pull the two cup pouring into each the required distance of one meter. So the guy ordered one was watching while the preparation was going on. After complete his tea, he paid only half of the cost. The cashier asked he said it was only 1/2 meter.

Small correction this restaurant Authentic food basically from TamilNadu, India.
