Ahh, day 1 looks like it was great. Your Son was fantastic at that video game! I’ve been to Las Vegas several times. Each hotel on the main road is as grand as you imagine. One hotel in particular has a theme park inside it with rides. Another one has a large aquarium. I hope you get a chance to visit one day.
