20:15 100% agree I lived there for 4 years and the food wasn’t all that. Like underrated hijabi states here it’s bland with a coating of seasoning and flavouring.
I was there not long ago and anytime anybody offered to help in the souq. I was refusing as I assumed they would want money, be careful not accept anybody help and also there are a lot of scammers!
When you flipped the restaurant cover to the back with that guy on it I snorted 😂❤. I watched Dubai bling and the owner of that restaurant is in that show ( causing drama girl 😂👀). Nice to see his restaurant in real life and that you liked the food.

If someone tries to scare you next time just say you’re gonna call the police. Police circle that area very frequently and they don’t mess around. You’re safe so don’t worry but don’t be too nice to some of these people cus some of them are just scammers
Same with when I go Asian shopping for dresses. Omg some lady once sold me a kamiz that was way too big for me and it looks ridiculous but I still have it to this day

what kind of behaviour is that? i don't think you owe him a penny, he volunteered to help you without stating he was doing it for money right? then how could he act like that when you tipped him for his help. I get it we are from UK we don't understand the dubai culture so maybe my brain is missing something here lol!!!!! what on earth . i deffo wont accept stranger help if i go dubai if that is the case, when we are lost in the uk ppl pull out there phone, they show you the way, they sometimes even take you all the way, i know i do! and i never expected a penny for that so i just dont get it.
Please don’t, they always act that way after they offer to help. Apparently, guiding people is like a job for them, I think that’s why he acted that way.
I’m from dubai, and we don’t have tipping culture here. We give (sadaqa) in Islam which is charity. But it’s if u want to give that person, if not then it’s okay. I felt soooo bad for her because she was scammed and he was rude about it. Like be grateful, I know for a fact that he maximum get 20dh from any dubai resident (and you don’t have to give him in the first place!!!!)

there are reasons why u get sick after a whole day in foreign countries, bcuz if what u eat, ur stomach unfamiliar with it, so it need time to adapt with the new foods, thats why we felt headache and tend to vomit, thats what happen when i go to Korea, im from SEA, the foods there is totally different, it's spicy and have many chewy texture, the only foods i can adapt with is cheeseball 😂
