It was interesting seeing Dubai through the eyes of someone being there for the first time. It is one of my favorite places to visit. I remember one of your vids (I think it was Kenya) where you went to the desert and you said that people do not have to go to Dubai, they can get those things in Africa. I thought you would have to visit Dubai to really see the difference. I saw Wode's livestream in the early part of the trip with you him and Tayo and he was saying that he found Dubai artificial. I would not say it is artificial I would just say it is new. At one point in time the Eiffel Tower, Sphinx, Big Ben and Empire State building were all new also. In 100 yrs the Burj will be seen as "historic" My country in the Caribbean became independent and discovered oil around the same time as the UAE to much different results. Different political systems; but it shows what leadership and developing your own citizens can do. Do people think that their treatment of workers rights are problematic, yes, but their Citizens enjoy a very high standard of living. Do their leaders live well, yes but once again the CITIZENS also live well. People tend to be more accommodating of corruption and nepotism if the citizens and country develops. In Africa leaders have to think country first for the continent to develop. Africa may not have to imitate Dubai but they can emulate it.

I think at times our reasoning is tooooo pedestrian, say for instance where you are, say like in a hotel and you're trying to film and then you are told filming isn't allowed, like jeeez as long as you aren't in anyone's space, the most you are doing is just to promote their business. We need to really change the angle at which we look at things. We are so uptight for shallow reasons. Thanks for taking me to Dubai by the way. I love you more for that.

Dubai comes with so much experiences. I hope to visit the place one day but now let me appreciate the wisdom of visionary leadership through your lenses. You've done a marvelous job with your Dubai series and I hope African leaders will take a cue. Bravo!
Miss Trudy, it is do delightful to witness your excitement of your exposure to the beauty of Dubai. However, you compared the leaders of Dubai to the leaders of Africa. The workforce that the Emirates utilize to build the magnificent buildings etc. is done by immigrates who are paid wages that are low and they are not able to enjoy or live in the "new" or Old Dubai. I wish you could have gone to those area's and you would have seen the not so pretty side of Dubai and their labor force. I would love for Wode Maya and you to dig deeper into the lives of the ordinary people who unless they are a Emirate are not able to enjoy the comforts that they built with their blood, sweat and tears.
People of determination means "disabled people.. Most of things in Dubai are free for them including special parking spaces which are free and reserved for them. Come to Abudhabi also next time. Theres alot to explore too 😊

I have read many times that that country does not take kindly to women showing too much skin in public. You are lucky if you did not get harassed by the police or ultra religious men. You should do your research when visiting a foreign place. You need to adjust to their culture not expect them to adjust to yours.

Miracle gardens is beautiful imagine kama ni kenya, pple will spoil the place while rioting because they don't care,kenyans is a high time to love our country and keep it clean.
This is what life and living means. These people know what they want!.. they realized that oil (their God given natural resource is depletable) won't be there forever. So from the revenue, they've created the future. Now imagine how much more natural resources Africa has?..far much more than these people, yet we have not the slightest idea on what to do with it... How to harness the natural resources and make the best out of it...Africa!..who did we offend?.…who bewitched us?!??...it's so frustrating!
