O my gosh.Once beautiful capital of Ireland,now a slum.Visitors would come from all over the world,not anymore.The powers that be should and MUST be held to account .What a shame on them what they have done .All is out of control.Who would want to visit there and enjoy our once proud and beautiful country.
Dublin born and bred here, lived most of my life in Dublin, reared my family there. Now I'm an immigrant is another EU country. To live here, every year I must apply for my ID card and resident permit. To obtain these vital documents I must show my private health insurance, I must prove I have the means to sustain myself and not be a burden on the country here.

@@NelsonJ75 All people living here need an ID card, you must carry it at all times. As a foreigner I must have a resident permit as well. Every year I must go through the process of obtaining both.
I was going to visit Dublin about ten years ago, i should have gone but i heard it was getting bad then even, i'll never go now it's a totally different city to what is was, it now looks like a cross between Africa and the Middle East.

There goes my tax, while most people in Ireland that work can't afford a house. Crazy country we live in. We should be voting for the national party and independents in the next election. All the other parties have sold us out to the highest bidder for years, and don't want what's in our best interest. As part of the European Union we have to contribute I know that, and I'm all for helping the Ukrainians as they are part of it, have a similar culture and are coming from a war torn country and the eastern Europeans are grafters. The only way to bring about change is to vote and get out and have mass protests. We should be following Poland's lead. it's 38 degrees Celsius here in central Greece today,we had our daily one-hour-and-a-half swimming session in the crystal blue sea and about two hours ago we finished with our dinner : fresh salad, fresh fish, dessert and fruit.
