@@varan2412 Yeah it's really a lose/lose situation (not sure of the exact fighting game term) for the opponent at that point, you don't even have to time it as the both Spiral's super and Cable's super will hit the opponent out of their alpha counter (with rare exception like Juggernaut's splash assist) Duc just DHC'ed then because that was the last round of knives. The best option for the opponent at that point is don't alpha counter and let the point character get chipped out to preserve the healthy character.
Gladys! Used to play there in 2003. Remember Eugene's dad's Swapmeet? Those were great times. They had Duc ( in his nursing scrubs) Soo, Potter, Bill, Jameinis etc......
Duc should have stayed at home with spiral in the first game... Aerial melee attacks against sent with capcom assist puts you at a huge disadvantage... Santhrax had the most deadly combo With those 2
He looks rusty in this video, he was pretty good back at the end of mvc2 era. Good enough to beat top players like executioner. Watching these makes me want to play again! What's the best platform to play online? Playstation version? I would get dreamcast but theres no online play correct? I've been out since 2005 lol

Neo was one of the best if not the best at the end of the games competitive life.
That's a dumb thing to say.......he's probably top 20 all time and has been a top 8 kinda of guy during his time. 1)Wong 2)Sanford 3)Yipes 4)Chunk 5)Schmidt 6)Duc 7)Soo 8)Row 9)Mix-up 10) Clock 11) J360 12)Smooth Viper 13)DemonHyo 14) Potter 15) Fanatic 16) Neo 17) Ricky O 18) Wigfall 19)J MAR (higher then this just forgot) 20) Takayeuki (Khaos but not sure where) 21) Ghengis, Reset, Combo fiend, David Lee, Randy Lew, ( Hawaii = Djb13, Rawbzilla, G.Nismor, Hawaiian Ryan) Kuan, Crizzle, Mike Infinite, Bill Wellman, Finesse, Reset, Isaac Graham (money matches) Desmond ( my bad Desmond is way higher) Amir, So anyway you look at it Neo is somewhere in the top 20ish......ever........over 20 years in the greatest fighting game ever made......so saying he isn't good is pretty dumb. He's a top 10 Sentinel and top 10 Thrax player ever. Top Sentinels ever as follows Sanford Khaos Chunk Smooth Viper (trained by Sanford) X Neo Row Soo (Yipes, Kuan) Top Santhrax's Sanford Justin Neo Smooth Viper Chunk Schmidt (before MSP) There no way Neo isn't AT LEAST a top 10 Santhrax ever and even that statement is slightly disrespectful.....Hawaii as a whole probably was thr best state for Thrax but Neo as an individual is honestly top 5 ever.
Good shit. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oKET-Y0-KsI.html HSF on Sentinel, tag in Spiral, launch, magic series, spiral buster - toss up, spiral buster again. 2 unscaled throws - not bad damage
@@NerdJosh true but like I said Wong has his number. He does good but towards the end he always gives up. Unlike Wong he never gives up lol. Once spiral is dead all it takes is a good magneto or storm to open up his cable and it's GG's for cable. Cable without an antiair isn't as deadly as one with an antiair. The skies are free for storm to roam. B4 doesn't really count imo because the tech and knowledge wasn't entirely there yet, Wong was still using storm cable Cammy in those days. Evo2k5 however I'd give it to him cuz people at least knew about advanced tactics by then. But this is 2020 a whole bunch of new people have leveled up like khaos. If it's Duc vs khaos I'd take khaos over Duc anyday.
@@monkeyspank3005 don't disrespect the legend DucDo, yes he isn't Justin but he won Evo 2k5 against Yipes, that alone cemented him as one of the greatest. Also Khaos is ridiculous and beat Jwong 10-4 last time they played, if Justin was younger I'm sure he would come back and destroy Khaos next event but he doesn't have the young man reflexes anymore, I'm not sure if Justin can level up more and win Evo but if he does everyone will go crazy.
@@ArmandoXIII 2 years later and they played ft 20 I believe or ft 10 I forget but Wong won that set too. Mvc2 will always be that man's game no matter the year it's played. Duc imo is a good second.
