It's not: you can't ride the HP4 Race on the streets (no headlights, turn signals, no emission compliace...) That alone is a massive shame! The Ducati has all of the above and still weighs about the same AND is even Euro4 compliant (it means the stock exhaust is heavier). What about that?

look at it this way, the H2R is a one trick pony, it goes really fucking fast, but weighs too much to corner fast, it'll smash the Ducati down the straight, but fall behind on corners, as with less weight, the Ducati can brake later and corner faster than the H2R, so to answer your question, it all depends on where you compare the two bikes, a drag strip or a race track...

This is better AND lighter than the FE. The FE is basically an 2016 Panigale 1199R (Chaz Davis rides one) with the engine capacity of the 1299, with some engine parts/caracteristics of this bike, some fancy wheels and some carbon fiber bits (mudguard, fender, dash block andexhaust heat shield ). No carbon fibre frame, subframe, tail section, fairings and wheels on the Final Edition. No titanium bolts and stuff. The suspension are not the same neither. I understand that the FE pushes 209 HP with the street homologated underseat exhaust and the Superleggera pushes 215 with the same exhaust (apparently not street homologated). I hope you have now a better understanding of the differences between the 2 bikes.
