LOL?! whahaha until you hear such a machine in person, you may think so. I can tell you that this sound is AMAZING. Its not a screamer (zx6r) but with aftermarket system it is louder! And it just sounds amzing!
A dynamometer works by measuring the torque available from the driving machine, be it a wheel or a shaft. The device that reacts against the torque is the brake. The Term Brake Horse Power refers to the power (watts) developed on the brake as a product of the torque required to hold the braking device steady in N.m and the angular velocity of the brake rotor in Radians/sec. 1 revolution = 2 x pi Radians; 1HP = 746W. The rear wheel horsepower measured by the brake is thus termed B(rake)HP.
Ducati claims 140 at the CLUTCH, that means around 120 at the wheel or even less... with this exhaust system I for myself achieved 132 at the wheel, that is between 150 and 160 at the clutch!
You should show your dyno chart at the end of your video!!! You say 130bhp that's pretty good! Have you done anything more than exhaust because usually the 848 is lucky to get 120bhp and 124bhp with exhaust???
Dumb ads question, in looking at one of these or an 07 blade. I'm an average rider. Love Ducatis but can't really afford the 1098 or 1198. Is this bike going to scratch my itch fast and fun or does it leave u wanting more??
Saying 130bhp at the wheel is incorrect. BHP is a unit of measurement from the crank, thereby you cannot have "130 bhp at the wheel." Just say 130rwhp (rear wheel horse power)
Measures the peak horsepower and torque numbers at the back wheel. Most HP and torque numbers from manufacturers are from the engine crank, and as such are not a real world representation of the actual power being put down to the road. I believe Ducati claims something like 140 ish HP for their 848 evo, meanwhile this owner has only achieved 130 at the wheel, with a full aftermarket exhaust installed.
Do you know where the DLC diagnostic plug is located on this bike? I have a 2011 and thought it was under the seat. But now I see online that it is by the battery.
Just 5 days ago I installed the same exhausts. Also included a Ducati performance map. But while i was accelerating I noticed that the final speed was reduced by about 15 kilometers!!!!! Is that possible?
This was posted by my pal without me knowing,i will ask if he can post it wit dyno sheet np for me ,,,,now second part of that ? I just found out this same shop ECS has just tuned an EVO 848 with max 140hp ...not sure what was done with tuning ,,,,all i have is full termi sys.......
@@hectorgarcia537 there are those types available aftermarket but not necessary ,unless you want to add traction control for example. They are add on not stand alone keep that in mind.
