Most front tyres on motorbikes are supposed to be mounted that direction. I didn't rewatch the video looking for a direction mark, but it's probably mounted correct.
I pity you in the UK with those humongous number plates covering half the bloody bike, Australian plates are less than half the size & I still reckon they're too big
