Mate.......brilliant! Fantastic job on making the 959 even sexier! Love my 959 with full akrap, the rainbow titanium gives it that extra bling. Might consider some of these extras in future. Clear clutch looks stunning. And I have to replace the piss sample containers for the red iodized ones :'D cheers

Thank you, I'm really pleased with how the paint came out! yes the plates are large but you can get away with slightly smaller ones over here, just don't take the piss! lol. all my clutch parts i purchased from Conquest carbon in the UK. Cheers.
Hi Tolly55, I was checking the paint job, it is very good. But I have some questions: Do the red, white, and green portions of the bike are really painted? or any of them are decals installed over a primary paint and clear coated? Are the letters and numbers and graphics decals that were clear coated? Where did you get the decals, letters, and graphics? The bike looks great. I appreciate if you can help me. I was wondering which will the best way to pain my bike in three colors. Thanks for your help
Hi Santiago X. Torres Egas The red, white and green are all paint professionally painted and even the silver around the filler cap is paint! The only decals are the writing! The panels were painted first then the decals were laid in place then clear coated, looks stunning!! All the work was done by a top painter here in the UK, all the decals were printed in house. Phil C, sorry but I don't have any dB reads unfortunately, I don't track my bikes so never had to find out🏍 I'm lucky enough to use a friends bike for track days. If you do find out please let me know because it would be interesting to know.👊
Hi Lucian Fara, it could be😂😂 looks stunning with all the mods I wished were on my 959 as standard!, single sided Swingarm, up/down QS, colour dash, V4 styling & electronics!! even the new standard exhaust looks good👍 What do you think of it and are you tempted?😀
Tolly55 It looks as every one expected, I think, nice upgrades but I am really happy with my 959, amazing with all the accesories on it now, thanks to you, off course. Will definetely buy the V2 for the right price, maybe next years.
Ty Nagle - sure it's a lot of money and not every one is in a position to just sell their 959 and get a V2 I completely understand, but for me personally the changes Ducati have made on the V2 are the changes I was looking at doing with my 959 which would cost lots of £££££'s! So for me i think it's worth it but it's not for everyone and there is nothing wrong at all with the 959 and I love mine to bits😃. Cheers👍

Tolly55 yes I am very brave I think! But my confession, I haven’t taken it out of wet mode yet lol! And also I am over 40 so I like to think I know where my comfort zone is and am quite good to sticking within it. I understand, but your bike is gorgeous! I think you should keep it! Thanks mate!😀 all my carbon parts apart from the front mudguard are from RSR Moto in the UK, good quality parts and reasonable priced as well, I usually go with Matte carbon but they also do them in gloss!👍
Hi Bryan, yes i did look at the V4 and i took a V4S out for a Demo run but i didn't click with it and personally for a weekend run about to get me to bike meets etc... the 959 is just right for me! i would never use 200+hp and probably not even the 158hp of my 959, its small, light, nimble and the insurance is not bad as well. I can honestly say i haven't had a single problem with either of the 959's 'touch wood' they have run seamlessly from day one. Cheers.

Hey Bryan, Yes! definitely worth the extra $1000 for a Course, the Ohlins alone are worth double that and not a bad paint scheme as well if you like the matte finish? If you are thinking of doing track days the Ohlins would be nice to have! The price difference between the standard and Course models here in the UK is a lot more or i would of looked at getting the Course! How did you get on at your local dealers today? did you do a deal?
No I didn't make it to my local dealership today... family roadblocks & work roadblocks ate up my whole day 1. Safety meeting at work 2. Oldest son got sick at school 3. Youngest son needs to be picked up from marching band practice But tomorrow is a brand new day😁 I'm not sure if I'm going to pull the trigger on a new bike tomorrow but I would like to know my trade value and a bottom line out the door price 👍🏽
Reus Rahn - good question😁 I would probably say the termi's but i still haven't heard the Austin Racing exhaust in the flesh and I bet that will be loud! It might not be the loudest but I just love the tone of the Akras.👍
