Ducati Diavel V4 Review | Hillclimb in Dubai! 

Noice one, Statham! If everybody had a road like this close to their house, there would be no wars. Mainly because most men would die trying to beat the hill climb record.

There is no one, no group, no team like 44teeth out there. We are very lucky to witness these guys in action. I enjoyed this video so much. The quality, the info, the fun factor/ entertainment was so high. Man! Hats of for Al. Great job lads!

It's a sweet looking bike but £23.5k is steep. £5k for an Akrapovic exhaust is feckin criminal. Nice that it's got a 20L tank too. Top vid as usual Nige!

Best coverage of this launch by a long shot. And this is the first time that bike looks appealing. Wouldn’t be for me right now, but glad Ducati is serious about taking the piss out of a cruiser.

Top production values in that video! The road looks epic and it was a great review on the bike. Had a bit of a giggle at some of the marks on the roadside barriers where some overenthusiastic motorists have gone in a bit hot!

I got a 2020 1260S and put the Termi short pipes on it - she’s a hot rod and loves to make a ruckus and pass everything - this new bike sounds like everything else - but it definitely still looks cool😎 Just love all the 44Teeth content - keep ‘em’ coming

Amazing place for a bike launch! I've never been a cruiser guy so when the original Diavel came out I appreciated it for being Ducati's take on the cruiser but I never considered owning one. But now that my knees can't take riding sportbikes anymore, the only way to ride a V4 is this or the Multistrada, and this actually appeals to me more.

What a treat to watch such a video whilst being in Dubai. Didn't even know of some of the roads to be honest. Time to do my bike license, rent a motorbike out here and enjoy some of these roads 👏🇦🇪

I didn’t feel any uncomfortable heat on a demo ride I did recently for 2 hours in some traffic, stoplights, and Highway on an 82F day. The bike is absolutely fantastic.

Superb introduction to the V4 Diavel! Seems like they are holding back the S version (which seems to be Ducati’s way of thinking these days). Given the V4S StreetFighter & Panigale V4S are the similar money, it should have Ohlins electronic suspension. They are taking the piss with that exhaust price too! I’m glad I’ve got my red 1260S. It’s fucken horn.

It’s like a fairy tale. While world leaders were trying to destroy freedoms and economies, there was a king who made the perfect road to indulge his appetite for fun and share it with likeminded souls! Bless this guy. Great bike..I’d say, true successor to the 80’s v max.

Awesome review! I'm not sure if this question came up before; however, what is the spec on the suspension? I can not find what the manufacturer is for the forks or rear shock! Also, any word on when they will offer an S version with Ohlins?

Great video. It’s amazing how much it sounds like the 1260, at least on the video. I can’t hear any difference on the video. Don’t like the stock exhaust design but that would come off anyway 😉.

It's so rare to find really good rider's view filming which stays with that view. It's really immersive. I would like to watch the the complete laps up and down. And then we get the excellent commentary - "It's like going to Bangkok and finding a phallus instead of a flange" 😆😂

I would love to see you find a way to borrow a V4R for a track review. I know there wasn’t a regular press launch (Nome was needed: The bike has sold like hotcakes.), but it would be a blast to see and to get your opinion.

my main "brotha" 650iB was in the 'House of Dubai' and he's like a little ant producing videos while test riding the 2023 Diavel V4. Once they come out here on the East Coast(as I just got back from my other home on the island of Oahu, Hawaii), I'll buy one immediately. I'll probably have it transferred back home to Hawaii after riding it around Virginia and hitting the Appalachian Mountains...

Excellent video. This looks like a really interesting road bike. Comparing this with the Streetfighter, what would you say are the relative strengths of each? Is there something that would make you choose one over the other or does it just come down to looks? I assume the Streetfighter’s going to have more clearance.

Superlative review, finally mention of the fact that the real world experience might differ based on true road riding conditions. I await reports in the future but admit it just could be my last ride before mothballing my riding gear after a wonderful life time of riding. Sure would be nice to have my exit bike be a Ducati, but postponing retirement to afford it not exactly floating my boat. I’ll take red please and perhaps an “S” version? Thanks for sharing!!! Yessssssss, I used to live there. Jebel Hafeet is in Al Ain, a city in the emirate Abu Dhabi though...different emirate to Dubai 😉 It is a great road!

Just wait 6 months before buying one as Ducati are famous for launching an ‘all new’ model and then bringing out the upgrade dripping with ohlins and marchesini wheels making the current £23,500 bike worth circa £17,000 in less than 9 months! Great Video Mr Fagan… but a sense of reality would make this a more balanced account!

A counter-rotating crank won't help side to side transitions, gyroscopic inertia is gyroscopic inertia - doesn't matter what way it's spinning the stabilising force is the same. It's might help to reduce wheelies slightly - fine - but nothing else.

This bike is a sheer weapon. I test rode one and agree its ace. Only problem for me, I was 25k short on the price.

Good to see that road being used properly , last time I was there was in a tour bus . Hope Ducati were paying for the drinks Nige.

V4’s give torque(midrange) to high rpm horsepower. Combing attributes a V2 with an online 4 essentially. Receive both worlds plus long service intervals. This bike could move into more mainstream vs a niche before. I own a super Duke and a MV AGusta Dragster 800 rr Pirelli edition love both those engines. This bike is tempting

Lots of trail braking going into corners. I was a bit amazed by the braking in the line ahead of you, at steep angles, mid-corner too. The TC must be very confidence inspiring to do that. I wouldn't try it with basic TC and ABS.
