@@xaviergarno5348 Couldn't agree more! And even on a track, I know guys who get faster laps with an 800cc engine when their friends are riding a 1199 Panigale, it's all about skill anyway
So I own a mv Augusta f4rr, with full arrow exhaust and mv racing ecu and some carbon parts. It made stock 201 in 2012, with added parts by mv 212hp in 2012. Yes it is tricky to launch, clutch does not reward drag style launches
It’s incredible to think that this is 5 years ago and at the time was hard to imagine bikes having even more power now a lot of them are around the 200hp mark, wonder in another 5 years time how they’ll change or what way they’ll improve them.

+Johny Mizbah Germans are the definitely in the equation but Japan only has the GTR and that's fallen behind it's competitors in a big way the last 2 years. Gotta give the GTR credit though, sparked a big change in the auto industry and the big guys had to pull their socks up to stay on top.

Hmmm. The ktm has 33 bhp less than the bmw, but was 0.2 slower in the lap. I think that the KTM is doing alot right, the bmw (with all the electronics and higher price tag) unable to use it. KTM for the rider's rider.
Agree Currently riding a 1299 duck And have rode both the ktm and hp4 The hp4 was the top bmw against a ktm with less hp and no electronics And still did real good with comparison Props to ktm for making a very rideable bike Not crazy top end which seems to be all the rage these days but a very capable bike with soul too I take the ktm over The hp4 anyday
I think that's a good call Bmw is a grate bike I have rode the s1000 and it was in a class of its own so the HP4. must be the mutts nutts ktm rc8 is a nice bike but trying to get into the super bike world on a buget is a hard game. All ways had a soft spot 4 the aprila but ducti don't cut it 4 me it's has all the gadgets but still needs 200cc more to ride with the 1000cc and a big price tag So Bmw 4 me all day long
So the Ktm is around .5 0f a second behind the Ducati and Aprilia,.2 behind the BMW and just ahead of the ZX10 with no electronic aids.Seems like the best bike here considering its road manners.Then factor in price.
zx10r thousands less than the other bikes yet there it is kicking ass , you ask me is best bang for the money, and you can get more horse power with light tunning on that bike.

I believe the Ninja H2R should have been included in the shootout in order to justify it's supercharged intentions! 😍😘😘
The Ducati was faster on the track than the B-mmerr. The B-mmerr won cuse it was better on the street. I guess that makes sense. People buy the Ducati for the exotica and hard core track performance. It is interesting considering the B-mmerr makes more power how the Ducati was faster on the track (not by a little either). I confess I ride a 1299 ! :-)
