Thank you for taking the time to post this video. I have a '23 on order and I have the full Akra on order as well. Hoping to get them both soon, but I am concerned about the remapping part. How has yours been so far? any issues? Idling....going through the gears....any cutoff issues? The dealer I am having install the exhaust recommended the UpMap t800, so I am doing homework, since I have the time waiting. Thanks again
If you have an akra don’t even sweat. It’s all approved by Ducati warranty and everything. It only matters if you don’t have akra and issues come about. I’m getting the termi slip ons but Appanrrtly it voids warranty now for the new 23s despite them being approved for other models. This is in Australia and yes it may vary from one dealership to others. In saying that looking at it through a financial perspective akra is just way too overpriced so I think the termi slip ons are the best second alternative as they provide an offical up-map compared to other manufacturers such as Sc, vandemon etc
@@MotoViceOfficial Nice! been watching your r1 build series again as I have similar stuff that I am putting on my bike. Unfortunately, I have not been able to ride since my ecu is out and is currently waiting to be flash by moore mafia. Can't wait to see what you have in store for us!
Merci d'avance Lucas
I installed same exhaust with the map and unfortunately when I shift from 1-2 gear I get a little bit of a lag. Ignition kill is a little too long after upshift. Have you had any issues? Thanks
Those it show on the dash the flash is done and can u Ride the bike to hear the sound .cheers great detail how to flash compare to some tube know alls.🤠
Chain wax is just that, a wax, which attracts dust & debris more than any other product, NOT a lubricant by any stretch. PJ1 is by far a superior lubricant when applied when the drive chain and sprockets are warm or hot, than allowed to cool if possible. Their are proper techniques to the art of lubing a chain, the vast majority of riders/owners are unaware of.
On paper yes the V4R is quicker and lighter. But the V4R is really a track oriented bike. The V4S is a more canyon oriented bike while being great for the track as well.
They are actually close to similar in power however the v4s will get to its peak power faster and imo is the superior bike for the road and in most cases for the track.
I just mapped my bike today, i noticed on other videos that upon fionishing the map and turning the bike on again, the display will say RACING PRO, but it didnt show on mine. any clue why this happens?
I installed the MGP stinger on my 2022 Panigale v4 and it ran a little rough but it still ran fine, then i took it to the dealer because they replaced the battery and a water pump, and now my bike shuts off at ever single red light, and at 160mph it like gets stuck for a second or 2 before accelerating again .. will a tune fix this? just wondering why this happened right after the dealer and not before ..
Hey man, I have my V4S running with the SC Project S1 (D26-LT41T) slip on, I plan on also getting the Sprint performance air filter put in this spring… with that being said, I didn’t notice a map for my setup, do you know if this is compatible with my SC Project setup? Much appreciated in advance!
I see a video from motomillion and he flashed a ducati street fighter and he didn't download the original map.he also said to ride the bike 3 times for the bike to get use to the new map and it would be great then.
Yeah for me it’s good to have the original map for warranty and service work. You never know. The bike has adapted well over a few rides that is true. So much power now.
@@MotoViceOfficial if you have to get updates put on your bike which I hear they are new ones free for the 22 bike how does it work with the saved map . what's the process . cheers
Upmap has stopped making maps for slip ons . Its no longer a option so it would be cool to let your followers know. BT Moto is now the only option for mapping v4 with a slip on.
Looks like all that good stuff arrow slipon without the db killers its only for 2022 Ducati’s Mine is 2020 and only i get only few maps and they’re mostly with db killers What year is yours?
Did the flash fix your idle? I got the exact same setup but on a Panigale 2021 EU5 and my idle is still weird… When you pull in the clutch the bike runs really rough. Only when you let it out a bit it starts to get smother.
Interesting seeing your response to this. I also have a 2021 V4S with the Termi system (baffles in) and when I pull the clutch in the bike goes so quiet and the idles seems very low. I'm the second owner so not sure which map the original owner added.
The bike runs great and the throttle response and power delivery is amazing. The only issue is the idle, which is right at the edge of too low. I've tried contacting termi but no luck. The low idle isnt much of an issue though once you are riding.
did you ever experience any flat throttle response between 4k and 6k RPM? i have the same exhaust and upmap on my 2022 streetfighter V4S and am now getting a really noticeable flat spot in the throttle. if so do you know of any fixes for this?
Yep. Termi's maps for this bike are not great at this time. I had idle issues too. They worked out a little bit after time but only when the bike warmed up. No flat throttle though.
Nope! The lambda sensors are on the headers and are disabled with the flash. I usually always leave them connected even if they are disarmed because I've had issues with other bikes throwing codes disconnecting them from the harness.
Thanks for the video, I used it to install mine and made things a lot easier. As you know the instructions are not even close and all over the place. Just something to add in the future, if you can add some torque specs on the bolts, would have made it perfect. I wanted to ask about the idle jumping up and down between 1500-2000 RPMs, have you seen it go away as you ride more? Or an external tune, such as Brentune would be necessary/ helpful? I am not sure about spending all that extra cash on Brentune, especially if there is not much of a gain to be had. Just looking for an opinion. Again, thanks for the series.
So I can't recommend Brentune anymore personally. I did use the upmap with the flash and the idle is still off. I tried contacting them in italy but their contact form was broken. I think its a known issue though. I think if upmap fixes the idling, its a good flash for the money.
@@MotoViceOfficial I think it's a lot of money and I'm not looking to spend that. Also, as you mentioned, UpMap is a good flash and as I ride more the idle is getting better so I'm holding off on any more changes.
@@MotoViceOfficial I used a Brentune on my R1 and it destroyed my ECU. A Woolrich tune on a dyno, absolutely blew away that BT Garbage! Funny, I too bought a V4S, after my R1. Doesn't it shift so much smoother than the R1? Defiantly a different animal. After reading some of the UpMap comments, I am thinking, it may be best to do a dyno tune, if I can find someone in my area, that is a Ducati person. a year later, did you iron out the idle issue? Thanks for the video's.. yeah, I know it's old :)
The only correct product to put on a drive chain is gear oil. This is the only thing recommended by ALL chain manufacturers. Done correctly it won’t fling.
Insee many people have asked you questions about how you are justifying those HP gains? Are you gonna answer them? The BS Zone is doing a video about moto RU-vidrs who post fake click bait videos, please an swer how you verified these numbers so gou can deemed credible or not.
