The Italians have amazing motorcycle designs but have a very unreliable implementation of the design into the motorcycle itself. I serviced the Aprilia RSV4 with a few thousand kilometers and a destroyed engine. The tightening strength of the screws on the connecting rods differed by up to 50% in relation to the factory-set values! Ducati is slightly better but the Italians are far behind the Japanese in terms of reliability.

If you say you got a RSV Aprilia ( one of the best bikes on market ) with thoudands kms, I trust you. The same when you try to make us believe that you bought a bike with a destroyed engine and some screws(😄😄) out of strength parameter. If the previous owner made by HIMSELF such troubles and you were so smart to buy such a used machine, you both have the same extraordinary competence ( 😂😂😂😂) about bikes !!!

Mostly bought by 40 to 70 yr old men who just ride it on the weekends and then it just sits there.

Just an update esp to falcon Hernandez.... mate,I’m 56, gotta monster 1200s and aT7. Both brilliant bikes... in fact going from a 900ss to the monster is a handful....so it’s about to be sold as I’ve also discovered adventure riding and that’s where my last years of riding lie....slow down and smell the roses people,it’s not about speed! Ride safe everyone 👍
