DUCATI | X DIAVEL S | Review | First impression | Used bikes 

The X Diavel S had exactly the same effect on me when I rode one. I bought a Diavel which I still have and love. No reliability issues or anything, just a total blast. Anyhow, must dash, I'm going for a ride :-)

What a great video! Well done Mr Fish! Absolutely love that bike! Not sure I could spend that much but what a tool it is! I can imagine it's totally addictive to ride and understand all the emotions you had on it! Love this style of review too, doesn't always have to be the latest from whoever, just a quality older bike will do. You didn't sound like you were a salesman either! Thankyou!

I love this bike , it looks to me that it sounds, looks, and rides like my next dream bike. It is just the best balance between sport and cruiser for me.

I almost traded in my Harley FXFBS 114 FAT BOB a few days ago for the XDiavel, but I didn’t go through with it. I want the XDiavel now after watching this video! I love my Harley FAT BOB 114, but the XDIAVEL is such and intelligent, sophisticated and modern bike which I greatly appreciate. My Harley is amazing, but it’s very simple and very old technology. I want something supremely MODERN now!

I absolutely love these and the conventional Diavel, they are my kinda bike and tick all the right boxes for me. But the internet is full of reports of consistant reliability issues with these, so buying one outside of warrenty would be a big risk, but buying new is just out of the question due to heavy price tag. Also my local Ducati dealer is rubbish, shame really as i'd have one tomorrow otherwise. Great review btw 👍

Coming from a new SDR 1290 I loved this XDaivel when I test rode it, however I struggled with the riding position. The Daivel S I rode after felt great but I think I need to give the X another longer ride. Your right about the torque it's like nothing else! 😂

I love my xdiavel s, for 30 years I been ride sport bikes, but three half years ago I got hit by a truck so new a hip, knackered knee and shoulder, so can't get on them anymore, looked round for along time for the right bike with all the power, handling and stopping power I needed, it takes me back to the old muscle bike from the 80s but on another level. I'm only 5 feet 7. and round 9 1/2 stone and still throw the bike round. I recommend anyone having a test ride on one

It's nice but it ain't as nice as my Moto Guzzi Audace 1400 (I was looking at a Diavel but the big service costs about 1000 pounds to change all the belts and pullies every 10k~12k miles) so I got the Guzzi instead and yes it's heavier and less painful it's still a blast to ride and as a ex GSXR 1000k4 mad owner belive me it is! Sweet video my man keep up the good work!

The modes don't change the power btw, they change throttle position to make it more sensitive. You have the same power in sport or tour, you just need twist your wrist more with one over the other.

Great review Sir, just bought a 16 plate 2 weeks ago with only 600mls on her and in love. I do find they have a lot of vibration through the frame etc but then never ridden a twin before and especially nearly a 1300cc twin lol

I'm coming from a KTM SDR1290 and over the winter I've been riding an old XT660R. Green laning it 😂 Now need something a little bit spicy for the summer 👍
