It’s funny how guys turn into crybabies throwing fits and threaten to call the game warden just because they got beat to the hole they wanted to hunt instead of go find another hole. There’s been several times we’ve been beat to a hole and instead of cause problems we let them have it and gave them a chance to kill there’s waited for them to pickup then we’d pickup and go shoot ours in the same hole everybody wins

Shared permission can be tough. I got a place with shared permission and the other guys don’t like when I go out there.

I did my first timber hunt this year in Brinkley Arkansas. It's pretty hairy walking in deep water early in the morning. And man you guys handled that ass hole nice!! You were polite and nice. I don't think that would of been me. Peace out BW!!!

Sooo what did the actual land owner say. I know in Louisiana even if you lease land to farm , hunting rights have to be written in. Used to deal with someone that was leasing family land to crawfish and would complain when i hunted. Showed him the lease agreement and it didn’t have hunting rights . He’s only got permission cuz he farms. And he’s thinking he’s got say so of the property , y’all should lease the woods from underneath him solve that problem

I hunt Arkansas timber 40 days of the 60 day season, and public land always, I will say not all local hunters are dicks, most are though. Fog can be great in the timber, feeder chatter and quiet calling and they just appear in the hole, but the best timber hunts are wind and sunshine. I ve run into people at the ramp that I’ve invited to hunt with me, I don’t remember most of them, or the hunts, but when they say hey didn’t I hunt with you at so and so and the answers probably and we shake hands, that’s how public land should be
