We've had a slow start to the duck season so far this year. I've been scouting out and trying a few new places on the Snake river. I hope you enjoy the highlights from our first few times out.
Sooo the first 2 hunts I was using my new weatherby element. Clearly I struggled to make good shots with it. The last hunt I had a different weatherby element, same gun, same chokes, same ammo. Does anyone have any ideas on why they shoot so different?
Dixie did an outstanding job marking, handling and retrieving the ducks! I agree with you about handling a boat without neutral or reverse in River current: it sucks.
As much as we struggle with good dog work in the field, I've never had a complaint with her and ducks. She never gets bored and she's always so cooperative with taking direction.
