It looks like Mullet Man needs to teach Mr. Flair how to cook some duck. That look darn good. I hope you all have a very merry Christmas or happy Hanukkah or happy holidays whichever you prefer. Thanks for the awesome content and keep them coming. So we can keep eating good!
Hey I just wanted to say that I’ve just recently been watching your videos and they are so interesting and very entertaining to watch. My basically dream goal is to go hunting and I’ve never been, but watching your videos makes me want to learn so much more. Keep up the good work MULLET MAN!!!
Mullet Man, which load were you using? I think I saw green hulls, ie Rem STS. That 42 would love some Boss copper-plated bismuth if it's fixed full, like most Win 42s are.
You won your Dad over, Mullet Man -- that speaks volumes. (^_^) Merry Christmas to you and your whole family. I hope you have a great time together. Kind regards. Liz.
My quenn made us all Turkey this year, she's 72 me mum & I said it could do with abit of critter glitter on it & she threw a knife at me lol her hearings not same ,she thought I swore at the table, so I've ordered her a few bottles ;)
Brother ur bird hunting videos are TV show quality keep up the good work been here since the very first video and from then to now u have became a great youtuber!
Thanks Mullet Man I do it to every single one I shoot just the way I was raised not to waste any of the bird and awesome videos love the waterfowl vids
Im gonna leave this here as well lol because I constantly put on flairs channel to marinade it in Italian dressing for half a day or even a whole day up to you, it makes it really tender and because I’m in Maryland we use old bay as the dry rub but your critter glitter will do just the same, the dressing soaks in so good and keeps flavors really well because of the oils, if ever try it you won’t regret either way man hope you and your family had a merry Christmas and Eat Good brotha!!
Tom Terry I do the same with all of those as well except partridge only cause we don’t have them here lol I also like to mix honey mustard and a little French in with it sometimes if I’m going for a sweet n glazed type meat either way is awesome
There’s a Chinese spot by my house that serves duck like that but it comes with these little rice wraps sliced cucumber and some sort of sweet sesame sauce you make a miniature taco looking thing with it and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever tasted.
I'm just thankful you didn't put ketchup on it! LOL I've always thought that if ever had the chance to bird hunt again I'd buy one of those little pin pointer things that metal detector people use. Small enough to keep in a kitchen drawer and you'd never have to worry about breaking a tooth or swallowing a lead/steel pellet. Plus you wouldn't have to do the old "explanation" for guests about watching out for pellets. I've never heard of anyone using them but I'll bet there's many that do.
Keep some nice boiling hot water nearby and dunk your duck in there for a sec before you start plucking. It will make the skin "goosebump" more and make the feathers come out easier
@@gabehurst8604 it works though. Just like taking hair off a hog. The heat opens up the follicles around the feather, or hair on a hog, and they pretty much wiped right out, but the water has to be boiling.
You might answer this all the time - so sorry for that - but why do all of your videos only go up to 720p? Is there a reason you don’t do 1080? Love the vids tho!
Burning them still leaves the ends in the skin. Pluck it, flash boil it for about 30 to 40 seconds, and then basically just wipe the rest of the feathers off with paper towel, that way you can eat the crispy skin without chewing on feather ends.
Yo no way, Mullet Man I have that same 410 that was my grandpa's. Thing shoots like a dream. Sadly he passed when I was 3 so I never really got to know him
Need a pot of water and some paraffin wax. Do a tough pluck, and remove wings and feet. Dip the bird a few time and let harden. Once hard, peel off the wax. No feather at all. Make for a cleaner bird.
I’ll have to try this one for sure! I did a video on a reverse seared duck breast with skin on! It’s my favorite way to cook duck hands down! Try it out you might like it!
SO JUST HOW MANY DUCKS DID YOU KNOCK DOWN ? YOU WENT DUCK HUNTING WITH A .410,AND IT SOUNDED LIKE EVERYONE ELSE HAD 12 GAUGES . FOR SOMEONE WHO SPEARS A DEER, I THOUGHT YOU'D BE USING A WRIST ROCKET ,OR A BLOW GUN . JUST KIDDING. AWESOME VIDEO,AGAIN , HOPE THE"MULLET"FAMILY HAS A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS
