Join my friends and I as we paddle 5.5 miles on the Scenic Duck River from Leftwich Bridge Access to Howards Bridge Access. This is a beautiful and super-easy paddle that anyone can do. This is the Higher Pursuits Cheeks Bend route, but you can self-shuttle as these are TWRA access points. #kayaking

Awesome! They'll love it. It's a super easy river, but being wider there's a lot of sun. Just be prepared if it's a hot day!

Thank you very much! Yes, I've told myself I need to do that more. If I do it's in the video description so I can find it and not have to watch my own videos...lol. This river never get's too low, but for many you have to know the minimum.

What's the longest you've done in that kayak? Do you find the molded seat comfortable enough?

I've done several 10+ milers in this kayak. I personally love the molded seat (and high back) and find it very comfortable. But as you know there's no adjustment, so either you love it or hate it...lol. :-)

In that area where you had to get out, was there some sort of mill there back in the day?

I'm not sure, but we suspected that. I'd like to know for sure. It seemed there were too many "right angles" and "straight edges" to be natural in my opinion. It was just a feeder creek that we explored for a little bit, not on the main channel.
