Assam is very rich in variety of green leafy vegetables.plantain flower and stem, besides duck ,pigeon, pork and fish of various species, I have travelled all over India and different countries too but back I return to my home state becoz I miss the food that is available in fresh condition in the entire NE region. Go ahead and explore more you will not regret. Ms Bejbarua is a good friend of mine.

When in Assam , try the traditional pork dishes of the region- pork with outenga, pork with bamboo shoots, pork with til, pork with bhoot jalokia, pork with leafy vegetables, pork with potato, smoked pork, boiled pork.... Being a pure non vegetarian myself i am sure you will simply love it.😃😃😃
