Okay so I made a playlist with a bunch of scene packs that get requested or I think y'all would find useful. I'll update it every now and then. I didn't make the scene packs in the playlist so credit to the owners! Here is the link: ru-vid.com/group/PLBO0anv9myAXfpQmhp5OzDzyIoVg7giir
Rox Beep High School politics wouldn’t allow it as he is too much of a “loser geek” in the eyes of most. Andie seeks out Blane because he is hot, popular and rich. Although she will never admit to it being about him being popular & rich....
@@jcadriana9033 As someone who was once a loser geek herself - I still would have picked Duckie. Speaking from lived experience XD Or maybe I was Duckie... hmm.. because the lads I liked always went for girls with the description mentioned. Huh... High school never changes. At least not between 80s and 00s
the whole movie sets it up for Andy to choose duckie in the end BUT STUPID TEENAGERS IN THE 80S THOUGHT OTHERWISE AND IT MAKES NO SENSE AND I AM ACTUALLY SALTY
Duckie was the most iconic and greatest character from all the 80s teen movies. I identified and still identify with him so much. Thank you Jon Cryer for crafting such an awesome persona for Duckie.
Andy was seriously missing out I mean don't get me wrong Blaine was fine and had really nice eyes but duckie though it doesn't get any better than that
Does anybody recall the scene where Duckie mentions something at school like "Which one of u ladies would like to be pregnant by the end of the semester?"
Brugh people in the comments claim to want a Duckie, but IRL usually go for a Blane without actually choosing the Duckie in front of them--practicalness over happiness usually is the case
He didn't help himself though, putting her on a pedestal all the time, always being there in the hope that she'll eventually fall for him. Attraction doesn't work that way and he also shouldn't have got angry at Andie but at least redeemed himself at the end.
