Duckling in Watercolor Pencil Real Time Sketch Along! 

Great. I normally do acrylics but the last couple of weeks I haven't been able to sit at the table and paint with my broken foot hanging down causing swelling, so I had some watercolor pencils and youtube search and found you showing me how to use watercolor pencils. I haven't made anything you call fine art, but it has kept me happy and occupied. Thank you!

Sweet...I love watching you sketch and I especially like that you are using the WC pencils. Can you do some sketches using the Inktense pencils? That would be fun right! Huge fan Lindsay, thanks for sharing and am so glad to hear your scratchy throat didn't get worse!

Lindsay I am starting to take your advice-I haven't managed a full watercolour sketch every day but I am keeping a small drawing sketch book in the livingroom so that I can do a quick one any time I take a break. i've already drawn the lamb and this duckling this week! Once I get the taxes done it should be easier to draw it the second time onto watercolour paper and complete it as a painting. I love what you're teaching me!

Hi Lindsay money is an issue for me , but I want to get a sketchbook that can handle watercolor paints in it, so I can also do something like this. I don't know which ones you would recommend, I only get one shot at this? Would you recommend some to me. I want to sketch daily, but I need color or I get bored. Thanks so much!!!! hi. I love your hydrangea water color pencil video. I bought water color pencils and water color paper but when I try to blend the color the paper comes up. could you do a few more tutorial paint slings with water color pencil. I'm trying to do a simple beach scene but my paper dies before it blends and I have little funds and just bought this paper(masters touch fine art studio, 140lb) my colored pencils are the crayola 12 pack I'm sure they should work fine right?
