@@successengineeringofficial7742 Just in case, what was addressed as “a static pressure” is a part of velocity pressure that is converted to static pressure to regain one. Definitely it’s clear for you, but takes a bit time to understand the trick. Thank again.

thanks for your huge effort mr, i have a small question we assumed velocity for 3000fpm only for the first duct so there is no limit for velocity drop at the last of duct is it true?

Hello Sir, Thank you for sharing a useful knowledge. I have question about how to sizing the branch, if the first branch is 1000 CFM, should I input 3000 fpm for the velocity? and how to sizing the other branch? the second question is, is it possible to calculate the main branch using regain method, and branch using equal friction method? thank you so much Sir!

Yes you can size the main duct using regain method and branch duct using equal friction method
