A young black college student who moves in with his brother for a better education is in denial of his sexuality. Jamal finds it hard for him to accept himself and to love others around him. Jamal learns that life goes on and that you cannot look back but realizes sometimes it may not be what you want but what you need and sometimes it may just be too late.
Overall, throughout every trial, it helped him become who he has always and have always wanted to be.
