One full episode of Dudley Do Wright from 1970 with all it's original commercial's in tact!
Original Source: B/W 16mm Kinescope print.
A kinescope is a device used to record the output of a television screen onto 16mm film. Kinescopes were used to create backup copies of episodes for the smaller-market stations who couldn't afford videotape recorders, or which broadcast the show at times other than the regular network airtime.
Kinescopes were recorded on 16mm black-and-white film

This is such a cool trip into time...I loved seeing the original commercials too! I was born almost 30 years after this aired, but I loved this upload anyway. I hope we get to see more of them online in the future!

I kind of remember this format of the Dudley Do-Right show---I remember certain cartoons on Sunday mornings from time to time. That Chock's commercial looks as if the writers were on LSD at the time. I don't know which is creepier---the Chock's commercial, or the Tootsie Roll commercial. "Children, I am your Tootsie Inspector." Oh, dear!!! The implications...LOL. I remember "The Blob" from the Sugar Bear commercials, too----ah, those were the days.

I've often wondered why the reference to Sid Gould?🤔

Sid Gould eh? I had no idea! No Wikipedia page for him tho :( Is on IMDB! Apparently was just a gag tag and not the actual voice actor?

So back in the old days the TV when I was I was born in 1954 so in 1964 I would’ve been 10 years old you have to put an NDA and antenna on top of the roof and each element asked me to know the frequency again so we only got basically three channels channels to four and five and sometimes the upper frequencies like 11 and 13 will come in kind of fuzzy And basically that’s how it worked back then there wasn’t any cable there wasn’t any Internet there wasn’t any RU-vid and so rocking Bullwinkle and Dolly direct I will come in on a certain day during the week usually on the weekends I believe I don’t remember but we used to watch them and Rocky and Bullwinkle were particularly Enhancing to us kids at least me because these people that did these cartoons were from the old radio days and radio voices and they were professional radio voices and this is where they got their jobs just like now in the modern world such as Shrek and these other modern films and cartoons they professional people don’t like Robin Williams or Shrek it’s done by Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy and I am professional people that do theater with that back then the radio guys they were out of work because radio was going out and TV was coming in so they use voices for cartoons amazing isn’t it…,,
