duel of the fates is one of the greatest pieces of music ever written in my opinion. John Williams is a genius Join the discord to request songs and get high quality downloads of my music: / discord
Yeah by the time phantom menace came out, sampling on the n64 was advanced enough for that kinda thing so there wouldn’t be a need for midis. World is not enough released on the n64 with fully voiced dialogue for all characters.
Fun fact: There is a N64 game with Duel of the Fates in it - Star Wars Episode 1: Battle For Naboo on the N64 has Duel of the Fates in the start menu, although I'm pretty sure its the full orchestrated song instead of a midi.
It's possible to make tracker music that sounds orchestrated, it's just a matter of choosing convincing instrument samples and the composition itself. And considering space was very limited for cartridge games, that was probably the case of Battle for Naboo. Even PlayStation games at the time used tracker music, with games like Chrono Cross or Final Fantasy 9 having their entire soundtrack files taking less than 30MB of memory. (Most of the disc space was used for the FMVs)
@@ulti-mantisSome games used compressed audio files sliced up to work on the N64 sound chip... games like Wipeout 64 and Hot Wheels Turbo Racing did this. It is quite possible that it just is an edited version of the actual music.
Wow! I'm surprised it's being aired in the cinemas again. Only watched the prequels on DVD, with Episode 3 in cinema once in the 2000s. I'm hyped for Phantom Menace on the big screen.
You fight your way to the heart of Bowser's castle, you leap down from a ledge into the arena where he awaits. You expect him to throw a bob-omb, or to breathe fire, but he just stands there, his shell facing you, unmoving and unbothered. You shout at him, "Mama mia! Let's-a-go! Wahoo!" Bowser turns to face you, his visage obstructed by a deep hood and a long robe. He ignites his lightsaber.
I used to play a on one of those consoles you plug into your TV that's got a built in controller, and it was a Star Wars game where you fight different heroes and villains, and one of the fights I fought Yoda and it sounds just like this because how old it is lol.
I just imagine mario getting into one of the most epic fights of hislife with this mix the opponents I imagine him facing are Ashtarth from Bomberman The 2nd attack and Sephiroth.
@@marcogonzalez9673 I learned something new. I didn't know Maul had a brother. When it comes to Star Wars I know next to nothing outside the first six movies.
