The setting is such that it plays dotted eighth notes; it's kinda like playing half speed and having every other note be a repeat of the one before the last...paul gilbert's echo song also uses dotted eighths and he kinda explains how to do it on the youtube video, check it out
I don't listen to much Metal HOWEVER I was impressed and I really, really like your style. Your chouce of equipment is great and the Gibson Ripper bass you have in the background is wicked cool; I've always wanted one. Hang on.....so on the right screen you were just playing that guitar to do that fast finger picking or chicken pickin parts for the final mix? No echo pedal because if not you make it look Super easy but it sounds very complicated
I likte the part when he strums his 5 string les paul thats got a distortion or crunch sound going on and says "so it sounds like a banjo" great video anyway! ;)
