I love you're content and think that you're amazing for this community, like a messiah rising down to save us from the cesspool of overkill spammers, but to be honest that "reading your comments" video sounded pretty ranty. I get the frustration, but you made an opinionated tier list but then dogged on us for having opinions of our own. Keep up the good work though, make more videos like this and the "bullying children on Slap Battles" because they do make me laugh.
Pre nerf duelist is like scrapping on the bottom of s tier,because it does like 60-70 power on main island but on the duelist arena it was like 50 power
Tl;Dr: the example is not conclusive nor a good example to use due to nates skill. He used literally every glove almost flawlessly on his friend, who is supposed to be "way better than you think". Well, to be fair, there isn't enough information to make that assumption, but it can be implied. As we can see in this video, nate absolutely destroys his friend, but he literally replied to a comment saying his Friend was "way better than you think". Then why wasn't it evened out? I saw a separate video of his where he timelasped him getting bombed by his friend who by the way was USING DUELIST, and he was using dream. Like I don't belive that his friend was really using his true potential, but before I get verbally assaulted, it's just an opinion
@@The-Official-Mantis So not many people are going to see this reply, and that's fine. I'm going to clarify some things for you in hopes you have a better understanding. Me saying my friend is better than you think is so people don't just assume he is trash, because he's not. Sure, I'm better. Does me being better make everything I say about glove counters invalid? Sure, if my friend was trash and I were leagues above him in terms of skill. However, this game does not have a high skill cap, so it's very strange to see people thinking that my skill level is the only reason my friend is dying. I'm not sure where this point comes from, as the only option duelist has in this situation is to either slap me or run away. Any glove that can create space or give a free hit off of duelist is automatically in a winning position, and any glove that can simply get past duelist at the very least ties. Duelist having the ability to run away whenever they want doesn't result in a "win" to me, it's at most a tie as I just said. I specifically used gloves I thought would counter (or at least match) duelist in a 1v1 setting. The reason I did this was because my tier list is based off of how much a glove dominates in a free for all setting. The best of the best, aka S tier, are gloves I think are excellent at offense and defense as they are both very important when going against an entire server (which in my case, happens very often). Duelist has a solid defense and has the capability of rivaling quite a few gloves with its high slap power, but any glove with a decent ability can easily overcome it and force duelist to flee. I put duelist in A tier, which is a very good spot for a glove to be in. I reserve S tier for the best gloves, and duelist simply does not qualify for that position as of right now I'm pretty sure I have made this point, but maybe I haven't. The results would be very similar if I were the duelist in this video. I do not mind recreating it if that would be enough to satisfy you, but I'm not sure where people get the idea of duelist belonging in s tier in my tier list. If they want to make their own tier list, with their own rules that more favor duelist then have at it. No hate to you! I welcome different opinions, but it's very hard to argue that duelist is S tier without changing my tier list rules.
It very much is it is just that you are extremely good You are missing the point of why it is s tier, it has more power in the normal arena and it is hell to fight in there. It counters multiple abilities like reaper plague low phases of killstreak and can even save you from falling off if someone is nearby Fighting in the arena isn't why it IS S tier.
Not a bad glove, just not s tier. I can go on and on about why I don't believe this glove to be s tier as I already have between the tier list and shown in this video. I'm not sure how me being good invalidates everything that you see. Wouldn't me being good make my opinion matter a little more since I would have more knowledge on the game? If you want to believe it belongs in the top tier then go for it, it's your opinion. This is mine.

I can assure you that the results will be the same even if my friend and I switched roles. I am aware that duelist can cancel reaper and negate glove abilities like bus. Every glove in this game has counters. It’s not like killstreak is S tier just because it negates snow’s slowdown lol. The whole point of the video was to show that duelist has way too many weaknesses for it to be considered S tier. You overlooked all of that just because “I’m good” How can you be so certain that I’m the one who missed the point? I’m completely fine with you having your opinion on the glove, but claiming that I’m wrong for a reason like that is just ridiculous.
