I like the fact the english bloke looks more like a builder wearing a t shirt - although the rate things are going , builders will be wearing uniforms in this country. I guess all the “ designer “ crap has already crept in and guys Do wear Uniforms without realising it. The Sun tells most of the rest of the builders I work with exactly what to Think already 🙄Incredible achievement- and if Wikipedia is correct , at a cost of 6.1 Billion quid c/w 60 miles of railway- yet the proposed HS 2 thing was projected by 2019 to cost 100 billion - without a 25 mile tunnel. How does this make sense ? UPDATE apparently HS1 cost 5.6 billion ( without added tunnel ) for 58 miles of track and HS2 with 60 or so miles of track to Birmingham EST Cost £ 116 billion ? Or does that include track to Manchester and Leeds - or VAT ?
