I think they look a bit annoyed, I would too if I were them, the interviewer is so stupid, what does Bon Jovi have anything to do with the guys and also all the Guns N' Roses questions, it's so bad, they didn't leave the band on good terms and clearly they didn't want to mention Guns name.
😂😂😂😂if you understand German the interview is even funnier / more cringe. Poor guy, had to speak German and English at the same time... Slash and Duff being confused as hell tho LMAOOOO
@@joodlebug they really do- I think it’s probably down to the fact that at this stage people were focusing more on Guns from the 80’s than VR which at the time they had put so much work into!
Slash and the look on his face when they started playing the Bed of Roses video. Classic look on his face. Lol!!!!!! Beautiful song by Bon Jovi, but definitely wrong band.
What a stupid interview!! They've humiliated Slash and Duff with picking a guy who doesn't know the freakin' difference between Guns and Bon Jovi..!?! And all these stupid questions!! If I was Duff, I'd have answered the question about whom I wanted to fight with: 'Right now? ...YOU!!!' WTF
It's a headfuck. When I first saw VR I thought at the time that they seemed old and GNR felt like another lifetime; but 17 years on in retrospect, the guys still looked fresh out of GNR and had that vibe about them.
They went to a friends funeral that died of throat cancer yet they are smoking in the interview. Also this was a very screwed up interview, disjointed no one on the same page. The interviewer is trying too hard and over the top.
As far as I remember from his autobiography there was only a relapse with pills, not alcohol. Maybe it's a non-alcoholic beer, we have plenty of them here in Germany.
From 4:22 - Bed of Roses, his favourite Guns n' Roses song! *total confusion on Slash's and Duff's faces* Actually - that is a Bon Jovi song! *Slash and Duff start to crack up* What a bizarre interview, my German is good enough to understand most of what the presenter is saying, makes it even funnier 😂
I understand I do not know if it will be true and he does not smoke or baby any of that as he did in the 90s because around 2008 2009 at that time he went to the doctor to be done to see himself as he was And the doctor told him that he had arrhythmias, so I quit completely because what do you want him to not disengage and give him a heart attack and die because I prefer if I have a health problem to disengage him tea juices drink water etc before continuing with alcohol cigarettes and my heart attacks and staying in the place, Slash was right to leave it
Fuggin' this. When Duff said they had been playing together nearly 20 years... and now...this interview was nearly 20 years ago it's like fashion and all hasn't changed much since this interview...but from 1984 to 2004 everything radically changed..
4:40 Was that alcohol that Duff drank? He said he relapsed by getting hooked on benzos around this time, but I thought the last time he drank alcohol was in the 90s due to his pancreas...
9:37 is the face you make when you’re in a small room with a 100w and 4 12s cabinet maxed and all you have to do is roll that volume knob up on the guitar…smiles on them gets me every time lol
Bro the whole band relapsed lmao. It’s weird how that happens. Dave Navarro was clean for a few years in the 90s and got strung out on the Jane’s addiction relapse tour. Being a junkie in recovery myself I think that’s a huge trigger for someone to go back to a band that they were strung out in or in this case getting back with people they used with/used around
