A Duffy is an electric boat. It was invented by Marshall “Duffy” Duffield. He spent a lifetime on the water, as an offshore sailboat racer, designer and builder, operator of large power boats and he’s a founder of the Duffy Electric Boat Company.
With the single battery pack, smaller Duffy electric boats will go for 3.5 hours, averaging just above 5 mph, for 17.5 miles (assuming calm winds and no current). It can fit up to 12 people and cruise around.
