As someone who's most nostalgic pixar movie is Up, it's great to finally see my favorite gci animated characters again, the shorts are hillarious and cute and i love seeing how Carl has slighty aged🥰

I especially love the part when Dug yanks Carl by his suspenders after freaking out over the fireworks while Carl has a squirrel on his face and then pulls his head through the dog door causing his dentures to fall out. Hilarious! 👏

If Ed Asner didn’t pass away or if someone else could do Carl Frederickson voice the same way Ed Asner could, they could’ve made more shorts of Dug Days. Dug Days short probably could’ve lasted longer if possible. Maybe?

The art style of Dug Days kind of looks uncanny and inaccurate to the original Up movie. Seeing photorealistic squirrels and birds alongside Dug's cartoon based character design really throws you off.

Actually dug u are allowed to bite back at the puppies as that's how they learn not to bite as their parents will teach them and litter mates as well. not kidding when my sisters dog had puppies i was a bit shocked when she bit her puppies but my sister told me "shes teaching them not to bite" sure enough we never had any problems with puppies nipping the kids which was a good thing since we had a 3 year old in the house.

The voice actor for Russell retired from acting. So they used archive voice over footage for him in the last episode. It’s also the very reason why Russell isn’t seen in many of the episodes.
