Abbie is a very smart and has a medical degree in Nursing and is also very beautiful. She and John make a Perfect couple. And GOOD for her standing up for herself.
We Really Don’t Know much about the Truth! She is a 34 year old young woman! And they could have been engaged already! In Any event I’m so happy for her. And as Long as Everyone is happy that is All that’s important. ❤

The girls in her 30”s I’m pretty sure those rules stopped applying to her long ago lol . She can make her own rules and set her own boundaries herself I’m guessing!
I remember seeing in an episode that they set their own courtship rules for what they will allow in their courtships so while braking some of the more traditional stuff that her siblings did she didn't necessarily break rules unless that wasn't within their standards for them as a couple
I don't believe they are rules as such! It was preferred but each couple to make their own set of boundaries together. Same with clothing as parents we teach what we would prefer but allow the child as they grow to find their own way. Not wanting the older ones to have influences outside of the family beliefs to influence the younger ones. there's nothing wrong with wanting to keep young ones safe and in line of the family religious beliefs.
Wow…just WOW! Doesn’t matter what anyone says about JD’s hair, but his children are absolutely BEAUTIFUL,possibly and in my opinion, the MOST beautiful of all the Duggar kids offspring. Abbie is positively stunning and gets more beautiful as time goes by! I would give my right arm for her natural curls…they are so wonderful! They look so wonderful together and make an incredibly photogenic family! Jana and Stephen will have great looking kids, too I’ll bet if she is ready to have her own after raising her siblings! First of all, she is 34. Secondly, from what I remember from the family reviewing this with on watchers every child, the couple set their boundaries and the chaperones make sure they don’t violate the ones the couple has set for themselves before and until marriage.
She's a grown woman, not a teenager who needs to follow courtship rules...and I don't think Jana has been 'under the thumb' of her parents all these years the way many would like to promote.
The brothers comment- dumb who cares. The "break of rules" if you go back and replay the show Jessa gave Ben a full front hug in an episode. So maybe the "rules" are just for shock value for tv and maybe the editing person should have been more careful before they aired that episode. I don't see a problem with hugging, but it seems fake and phony the way they carry on about these rules and then we see otherwise. She is also a grown 34 year old woman. If she wants to front hug or hold hands this should not shock anyone. The pants- every so often when I these videos come up most of the girls are wearing jeans or shorts. Again, its not a bad thing, but then don't lie about it for tv purposes. Abbie answered back to a comment- big deal, this video portrays her as if she is the first person that has ever spoken up for themselves. Good job- clap clap. The names- good heavens why are we picking this apart- who cares why they picked the names they obviously liked.
