I am so, so happy for Jana. I have watched the Duggars since they first came on TV and she (and Jill) have always been my favorites. She looked absolutely stunning (best Duggar wedding by far) and Stephen is incredibly handsome. I wish nothing but happiness for these two beautiful people.

oh wow jana got married I dont follow but I know she had pressure with people saying why does she still live at home. and there she is in her own home and a hubby.

Would have been better if jim bob and Michelle weren't there. People magazine must have given a good check since everyone thought Jana wouldn't get married. She looked beautiful and hopefully moving away from her crazy parents she'll blossom even more.
That’s not a faux pas. Her dress had a lace overlay that lightened it up a shade, but it still coordinated with the wedding party. The only no-no would be outshining or distracting from the bride, which she did not.
@aj25055 I agree. I think Stephen actually is a pretty good dancer. I read an article after he & Jana had decided to part ways around 2021 - 2022. Stephen was seen a few weeks later line dancing with his sister at a Wissman family function. I'm guessing the dance steps were kept simple for Jana. You can tell they had rehearsed it several times. I'm willing to bet with the Duggar strict upbringing Jana & her siblings had to endure that they were not allowed to do anything resembling dancing. This would not surprise me if this was the 1st time Jana had been allowed to dance. The Wissman family are Mennonites & not as strict as the IBLP teaching the Duggar children have had to endure. I also got the impression that Jim Bob didn't have much say about Jana's decision to marry Stephen, but I am also of the belief that Stephen asked, out of respect for Jim Bob, for permission to marry Jana. Jana said in 1 of the articles I've read that she & Stephen were older and at a different life stage from her younger sisters who married at a much younger age.
I actually think Jana didn’t dance too badly for someone whose family never allowed her to dance EVER in her life. Why do people have to be so bloody judgmental?
