Evading the police is a crime in California, which can be a felony under some circumstances. The police after many years of experience try to avoid causing accidents and deaths through pursuits. In the bad old days they never lasted very long. These days the cops will follow someone for quite a long time.

The tax payers suffer for this nonsense. If they are wanted for murder. They are still dangerous. Driving too fast can injure themselves and others with these pursuits. Most of the time it last too long. Most of them if they stop. They take off. No respect for Officers. Then judge give them I bond. Just don’t understand. Thank you. 🙏🏾
