Performed on January 17, 2016 at St. Mark's post-Compline organ recital; recorded January 18, 2016 at St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral, Seattle, Washington, USA.

Bravo! You've made your playing and this piece fit this organ and room very well. I've always been a fan of this magnificent instrument - one of D. A.'s master works - whenever I'm at Seattle and there is a service or a music program I never miss the opportunity to hear it - much as I never miss the chance to hear a recital at Grace Cathedral, San Francisco - I'm Lutheran (M.S.) and we seem to have a number of new parishioners joining up from the Episcopal Church - not sure what's up with that, but it's wonderful to hear that the Episcopal Church is maintaining a lively musical tradition. Thank-you for the music!

Something wrong at 1:13. Last chord doesn’t sound correct.

Good ear. The arrangement I played deviates from the Dukas orchestral (brass) score at 1:09. Dukas has a Gb diminished chord (Gb-Bb-D) with an added dissonant F (so Gb in tuba and 2nd trombone, major 7th F in horns), while the arrangement only has the Gb diminished chord. However, at 1:12, the arrangement has a plain A major chord, which is indeed what Dukas wrote and what I played.

Yes, I hear that now. Chord just before the last one. Makes the A major sound “off”.
