PHILIP Makes visit to Paris with Elizabeth. Laying wreath on tomb of Unknown Warrior at Arc de Triomphe. Greeted by General Giraud and add signatures in Golden Book. Drive to Palace of Elysees and received by President Auriol. In afternoon opens exhibition of 8 Centuries of British Life in Paris and tours Galleries
PRINCESS ELIZABETH Visit to Paris with Philip. Drive down Champs Elysees. Cheering crowds to Arc de Triomphe. Gen Giraud greets them and Elizabeth and Philip lay wreath on tomb of Unknown Warrior. Elizabeth and Duke of Edinburgh sign the Golden Book. They then drive in state to Elysee Palace and received by President Auriol. After they drive to Musee Galliera to open exhibition on 8 centuries of British Life in Paris. Princess greeted by Bidault. Speaking fluent French she declares the exhibition open.
