Mannnn is this team deadly. They space the floor, Edey is unguardable, and have great help defense. Could see some issues playing teams with uber-athletic and physical guards, but if Purdue shoot like this, it’s hard to not see them as a top 5 team
I don't think the Big Ten is weak per se, they are consistently a top conference, but they need to get a national championship at some point, been 22 years since Michigan State did it. Fair or unfair, that's how you are measured. The Big 12 has back-to-back national championships, for example.
Purdue with this kind of offensive efficiency AND defense.... Last year they played zero D but could score... This year its back to the good old Purdue grind... This team is looking special...
Purdue knows exactly who they are. Their players know what they are individually good at and they stick with it; and they also know where to get each teammate the ball. Lots of coaches should show their teams this game.
I think they'll still recruit good players, but the big "IF" is their new coach. How well will he actually do with the talent will determine if they fall off the radar.
FSU is a trap game. All that travel has to be tiring (from West Lafayette, clear out to Portland, then to Tallahassee). Remember last year when Purdue got ranked #1 then promptly lost the next game? I hope I'm wrong. GO BOILERS!
