Some of the cut content like the Sonic Resonator or Laser Chainsaw had been reintroduced to the game, especially the first one is fun to use because it turns monsters into projectiles. The content cut from the Alpha/Lameduke/Beta era had been restored like the Plasma Cannon or Flamethrower. You can also use the typical Alien weapons dropped by the enemies like the massive Battlelord's Chaingun, prosthetic chaingun's used by Enforcers, THAT STRANGE ROCKET LAUNCHER OF ASSAULT COMMANDER or Lizard Trooper's Alien Blaster. This gameplay modification gives you also a possibility to use the different ammo types or firemodes like Nuclear Missiles.

This is badass! Does the Freezethrower also have the laser saw option? Also, maybe add the flamethrower secondary functionality, like in 20th Anniversary? You know, add falloff to the flame stream, and have it make a pool of lava where it lands, so they could function like an improvised trap?
Many weapons here are actually Faithfull to Duke nukem, The Desert Eagle i say should be Duke's standard side arm it fits his personality as he likes to go with BIG guns and it debuted on Duke Nukem Time to Kill, Land of the Babes and Duke Nukem advance which is a follow up to DN3d, it was goin to be in DNForever of 2001 but the final product put a standard .45 pistol. The submachineguns, as this vid say, replaced the Chaingun cannon or Ripper for N64, DN Zero Hour has mp-10 submachineguns which are similar. The sniper rifle does appear in Duke nukem Zero hour and Land of the Babes so is not an unusual weapon for Duke. The plasma gun was the original concept for what it became the Ripper in the final product and is only seen in beta build like lame Duke. The M16 assault rifle was to be the main standard automatic rifle for Duke Nukem Forever 2001 (my personal favorite)
Also M16 appears in the cancelled Duke Nukem: Endangered Species game (and its render was actually used as the base for Duke Nukem: Badass Edition's M16)
That Nulcear RPG is amazing. The BFG explosion at 13:15 is cool too but would be nice if the flame of the explosions stayed for longer and raised up slowly to mimic the convection of a moushroom cloud
I tried the mod and it's really, really good. I just have few considerations: - The Riot automatic Shotgun is OP as f*ck. I think it could have a much increased spread compared to regular shotgun and the double and quad shots doesn't make much sense (and are really broken). I think you could replace the double shot with a double barreled shotgun (like dukeplus). - The Nuke rocket is really cool but does very little damage to strong enemies like battlelords or pig cop tank. It looks like a bug. - The sound of the guns are amazing EXCEPT for the enforcer laser chaingun, I didn't use that much the weapon because the noise is just annoying. (but that's personal opinion) - The plasma cannon could have the full charge like the plasma cannon in Duke Nukem 64 (like the BFG has ) - The flamethrower burns us too easily. I know it is an cool mechanics but its hard to use realiably - The maps in KickAss Tour is really hard, and that comes from a DN and Dark Souls veteran. Cool design but it's really hard sometimes. That Prison planet episode is crazy difficult - The desert eagle doesn't look golden, it looks a bit too greenish But damn, it's really a good mod. Congratulations
How to detonate a pipe bomb? I try ALL the keys on the keyboard and mouse and nothing happens except that I throw another bomb. It was also one of the most fun weapon mechanics in the original game. Is there something broken in my copy of the mod, or do I just not understand how it works now?
Wow! 30 weapons isn't it? Not to mention ammo types. Will have to give it a go. Have you played Cultic Martinoz? I thought it was the best game I've played in years.
Im just put off by the fact the dual wielding just mirrors the weapon on the other hand instead of using a different model on the off-hand thats un-immersive.
Over complicated Duke nukem 3D. Really, FX are overwhelming for most weapons. Some of them comes in 3-4 versions (Human 1, Human 2, Alien, Laser). Weapons have several secondary fire modes. It’s fun for barely a play through 1 episode and that’s it. What makes me come back to DN3D is it’s simplicity, weapons have their utility (except for laser trip mine 😂). This mod has potential though. Maybe a few plays would make me change my mind about it.
I had tested this mod some time ago, but I have to admit that despite the efforts of its developer, it doesn't have the fun and rendering, in terms of animations, of Brutal Doom. Some nice weapons though, I like the nuclear rockets.
