This is played with the KickAss Duke mod (or KADuke) where a lot more weapons and items are added (even the old ones are recoded) and improved inventory alongside more gore with gib physics and particle effects

Side note: There's actually an updated version of this map and its following sequel plus an additional third map as a remake trilogy, I'm playing through the original first and will revisit the trilogy some time later...
