I saw Duke with the Fabulous Thunderbirds in 1990 as substitute for Stevie Ray Vaughan who died a month before I got to see Stevie I actually saw the Fabulous Thunderbirds twice Jimmy and Doyle Bramhall the 3rd on second guitar

I could be listening Duke's stories for days.

Mark you did a great job getting Duke to talk about so much of his history - why he left Roomful after 12 years. The Blues Brothers origins. Why he left Dylan tour. Plus all his history with legends like BB, Muddy, Van and so many others. Amazing stuff!

Another awesome episode Mark. Been knowing about Duke since early Roomful days but never had a sense of him as a person. Very down to earth good guy. Great stories. Proving once again that my hero, BD, is one of the world's biggest a-holes. There is a ton of great Duke content on YT for those interested.
