I agree... and people wonder why racism has not been eradicated... Ummm DUHHHH... EVERY PERSON NEEDS TO STOP THE MADNESS! Racism is racism. No single race is above it. Every single race needs to stop it.
@@morenazo-ny8bw Oh give it break….I don’t know anyone who agrees with what happened to Emmett Till…..Officer Tatum is dealing with lies of today…with people causing division amongst us. Don’t be a part of the division!
I graduated from BYU. When this story first came out, my wife and I looked at each other and said, "there's no way this happened". Or, "the only way this happened is if there was a someone planted in the stands whose whole intent was to disparage BYU". This will never happen from a BYU fan....period
I am a graduate of University of South Carolina and a long time sports fan of my school. I feel for BYU on this and am appalled that Dawn Staley took the side of a blantant lier. I am more embarassed that no apology was made after finding out this was false. No integrity shown from Duke or South Carolina.
ABL dug into farther. He said the same thing as you.Even dug up things saying the witnesses are disproven Rachel's words. It's all a lie, she just wants attention.
Her god mother is running for some district office in a city in Texas. She was the first one I read in the interviews telling this story. So there’s that.
You'd think Duke would be more cautious to these type of allegations given how they rushed to judgement and ruined the lives of some of their own lacrosse players awhile back.
She's lying! As a black woman, I also have grown tired of these people always playing the victim and when there's an actual real case of racism, no one will believe us anymore. This has to stop! It is so disturbing that so many of my people actually want to be victims and are searching high and low for racism. This is a sick and disturbing trend
@@stacyeandrew2 And the blood of the true victims will stain the liars' hands. Not that most of the liars would care. *We need to start **_making them care._*
Especially when they do it after a loss and not just taking the L. I don't know if you remember the white freshman college tennis kid that beat the other Senior HBCU kid. So the black kid said he lost because the white kid said, "At least I have a Dad." Kid kicked off college team. Outrage. Still turns out the Black kid was talking trash as he was being routed and nearly shutout. Granted the white kid was an upcoming phenom. Supposedly towards the end the white kid talked trash back. It was said that the Black kid said, "Must be nice living off Daddy's Trust Fund" when the kid responded with the Dad comment. Big shocker is the White kid during his summers the past few years prior would go and teach inner city Blacks how to play tennis. No matter. White World bad. No life if you win. You RayCis. Don't know if the poor kid was able to overcome. Was like 2017-18 I believe. Early Trump derangement time.
I knew a guy who said the most traumatic moment of his life was hearing someone say a racial slur when he was 8 years old. Like really privileged rich kid but he used that example to prove he was oppressed. Worst moment of his entire life was being called a bad word. 🤣
I just went to my first BYU football game this weekend. When Baylor came onto the field, not one person booed. The BYU marching band played the Baylor fight song before the game! I've never even heard of anything like these kinds of behaviors before. They never booed the refs after bad calls. It was unbelievable. I would bet money I don't have that this young woman did not hear what she thought she heard.
I didn’t hear about the special needs person getting ejected. Not sure what that’s about. Sadly I’ve seen that many time. My grandma been doing work with special Olympics for over 30 years and I’ve attended many events and seen how badly they are treated even at a place like that. That’s a whole different topic. Idk who’s right I just going off what I read. I didn’t see a video. Just read an article that said the dude didn’t deny it. But idk because that’s the part that doesn’t make sense to me someone is lying
There is no way in hell that anyone at a collegiate volleyball game would get away with yelling racial slurs without being confronted by the staff, coaches, or anyone in the stands. This is such BS.
Agreed. I happen to attend college sporting events, including volleyball, reguarly. NCAA school. Pre-game announcement clearly indicates you will be tossed for such behavior. Yet, nobody was tossed for what she alledges? Very unlikely it is real. Maybe she was simply mistaken. I don't know, but the odds of it actually happening are slim and none given that nobody was tossed.
This is what I said from the very first day. No way in this day and age in any venue other than some kind of kkk event could someone get away with this without being attacked by everyone around them in the stands. Not a chance in hell!
The first time the people around them would shut them up. A second time and security would be called. Plus it was "the student section" at BYU ... anyone who was a student who let such behavior happen would be Honor Code'd out in a heartbeat. Also, no evidence at all, and her godmother is a BLM activist running for office who tweeted extensively about this thing that never happened.
@Nathan: correct!! Unfortunately, she'll never have to suffer the consequences of her lie. She'll be held up as an example of a "strong and independent black woman. A ROLE MODEL for a girls of color."
Her smile as she speaks on camera is what body language experts call "duping delight". She's inwardly delighted about getting away with this big lie, and she can't help but reveal that in her facial expressions. So sickening.
Thanks for that term, I thought I was going to have to coin one of my own. I see this all the time. Very useful. And you are right, it is just disgusting to witness. What an smug and petty mind full of snakes.
Interesting. I work with high school students, she’s got the same look as when students are making up stories when you ask them a question and it goes off the deep end.
I've been on RU-vid extensively since 2008. Out of the thousands of channels I've seen, this channel has had the biggest impact on me. It represents me. It understands me. I'm grateful to The Officer Tatum channel for the truth above all. Please keep up the quality work. You're making a difference in revealing right and wrong. Please also continue to educate. Thank You.🙂
If it is PROVEN she is lying, she should lose her spot on the team especially if she is on scholarship. There has to be consequences to hate crimes- lying about accusations of hate crime should make one guilty of a hate crime. IE: Juicy Smollet and possibly this woman.
I agree.... I put a whole response on here about how this is affecting people's brains. About how dangerous these false accusations can be. About how some people are going to start seeing all black people instead of some black people. Some people will just become fed up and go to a dark hateful place. I did delete when I was trying to edit. People are going to get sick of it. They ignore real racism anyways right now. They ignore when it's happening to White and other people all the time. Yet the worst thing is that these false accusations are doing..... Is making everyone ignore and or think that a real accusation is false. I'm not talking about words here either. Words can be walked away from even though I know it's hard. I'm concerned about real accusations being made irrelevant by this kind of nonsense.
People need to stop believing everything the see or hear and do some researching of their own, come to your own conclusions. I'm 35 and the things I've seen over the past few years I've never seen in my entire life, my dad owned 49 rental properties, 10 of which were in Ferguson Missouri, I used to work on those houses everyday and interacted with 100's of people. My dad and I never had any issues, the worst rental house we ever had to clean up was from a white person. I'm white and so was my dad, I never saw anything to make me feel some type of way towards a specific race. Its a "person" problem not racial
True. I went more than half my life without being racist. Now, I want to start a fundraiser to ship them off to Antarctica where they won't bother anybody.
Back in the early 80s I was a cop in LA, we had an officer transplanted from the south who had a bad habit of using the "N" word whenever he encountered black people. After numerous complaints, he trained himself to use the word "Neighbor" during all citizen contacts and subsequently received dozens of compliments from the public.
Fuck suspended. She should be cut from the team. Oh wait but then we are back to white privilege at Duke. (LAX) WTF is going on with the HUMAN race ? So disappointed.
Then she'd claim she was suspended over racism ..furthering the deflection of absorbing the responsibility for one's actions ...which is a classic lib theology
I agree, but it won't happen. No one will do anything at all to this girl. It's sad that there are those out there (no matter what color they are) that WANT to keep racism alive! as I'm sure she learned her racism toward white folks from her family. If you go look @ members of her family's posts online, ya, they do not like white people, particularly white men, at all! So, this is a continuation of those teachings, I believe.
The mind is a funny thing. It will play tricks on you if you let it. I believe she put some sounds together and heard what subconsciously she feared. A more mature person would've slept on it and asked others for feedback later. Thank you for taking this subject straight on Brandon. I enjoyed the video.
When she said "raise awareness, and educate, and learn how to deal these issues", I knew she was lying. She's trying to seem strong because she's "rising above it", but it's all in her head.
In 2006, some members of the Duke lacrosse team were accused of sexually assaulting a person of color "entertainer". The media, university staff, and some of the general public went hard against the young men. Long story short...In 2007, they were found NOT guilty. This was the Covington, KY "smirking" kid scandal of its day.
Thank you for this. I had given up hope for their being people who would investigate before crucifying the accused. Your words give me hope for a future where people will investigate the ‘crying of wolf’ so that when the ‘wolf’ actually does show up, we as a society can gently change those rare racist minds. 🥰
I find it funny that she said it was a "negative racial slur." I never realised that there is such a thing as a positive racial slur. And this is what passes for students at Duke.
Well ya, because anything that's a slur would imply negativity. If you physically appear like her, you can say such to others who look like you and I think it's a positive term sometimes.
Yeah there is. Prime example - When black people call each other ni**. That's a positive racial slur, it denotes culture and camaraderie using the racial slur, positively. When white people call each other "white trash" or "crackers". Same thing, I reckon'.
The positive racial slurs are used by the blk rappers, so those are ok i guess but if anyone that's a different race utters anything negative or disagrees towards blk folk and it doesn't have to be a racial slur then they throw the book at them..
I seem to recall another Duke girl lying about an entire team, and even after it was proven completely false neither was she punished nor were the accused reinstated.
Was in the Air Force working in a male dominated area (Flight Line). We had a female co-worker of color. She decided for herself when she did and did not want to work. Our supervisor told us it isn't right but doing something about it would be harder than "'just letting her be". She was female and black so she could say we were racist/misogynists for any perceived slight. This was an isolated incident but it shows the problem when everything is about your race and gender.
There are people who will use improper excuses for their own shortcomings. Sometimes they use race. One sad incident I remember was back when I was in high school in the early 1990s. I was in the jazz choir at my school. It was very selective and difficult to get into. Anyway, we had tryouts and one of my friends who happened to be African-American didn't make the choir. She came storming into the choir room the day after selections ranting about how she didn't get in because the choir teacher was racist. She made a fool of herself. The problem with her argument is that out of 5 Black girls that tried out for the choir, only one didn't get selected. The other four Black girls sang better, as did the few others who were White and Asian. The sad thing is that she wouldn't acknowledge the facts. She wouldn't let the racism charge go. Her problem was that she saw racism around the corner of almost every failure. That was the sad part.
Bro, that ain't an isolated incident, saw it several times and I don't blame anyone for letting it go because there's NO chance of coming out of that battle unharmed.
I sent this video to My 27 year old son. I asked him, please don't ever bring home a immature, woke woman. I am so sick of the victim mentality. My son is Muslim/Jewish/American Indian/ Irish/Italian/ his skin is dark. He has been called racial slurs many times. My son said, Mom there will always be stupid people. He said, some of the worse offenders that make racial slurs are Black People. My son does not base his identity on his skin color or ethnicity. He judges himself on his strength, integrity, honesty and his accomplishments. I thanked him for not being a woke millennium.
If your life isn't living up to the expectations you've been programed for (you're black, and therefore a victim) you just make up scenarios that fulfill your expectations.
I first saw mention of this on Turtle Boy Daily News. If it were true, she'd have the world at her back. I'm SO disheartened at her lie, but more encouraged that this really didn't happen. I have no idea what motivated her actions. I feel very forgiving of this young woman, despite the divisive nature of her action. I would NOT want to live out the eff ups of my youth in front of a worldwide audience. We can all only hope that this young woman has made this that mistake we ALL regret from our youth, and that she hopes she, too is forgiven. I hope her actions going forward don't make make me regret my current opinion Offered FWIW. Again, I am bewildered by her motivations,
When you’re the only one that hears the voices it’s called insanity, either that or she thinks she’s Joan of arc. Listening to you tell the story it sounded like someone got ejected from the game because of what she said. I pray that that person call her out for it And a full investigation is done. And if they find that he did nothing wrong that she lose her scholarship and her free ride to that school
At this point, I don’t even care about her making the incorrect claim. What pisses me off is that all the people in media rushed to Twitter to call out this man for being a “racist” and the university banned him from attending games. And they did this all before they spent a single minute investigating the situation. Then of course when they find out the accused was innocent, not one single apology is made to him.
Sue the university and mainstream media for defamation and wrongful prosecution. They will declare anything an act of racism. Education or values taught in the home?
The guy who was kicked out was special needs and the police said he was NOT kicked out for yelling any slurs, so, in essence, nobody was caught saying anything!
The worst part of it is that she probably just pointed out the first random white person she saw. This stuff needs to stop and the media needs to stop covering this crap.
I'm sure some liberal pukes will eventually come out of the woodwork and say they heard it also. The reason they didn't come forward sooner is that they were scared of retaliation from the big bad white supremacists that the Biden, Obama regime warned us about.
I called this from the very beginning! I live here in Utah. I have been to many BYU games. Never once have I heard anything like this, or heard from anyone else that anything like this has happened. Now we have the head of the Utah NAACP out here calling all Utahns racists! This is insane and I don't belive one word of it!
I'm a Utahan too and have been to the BYU campus plenty of times as well. I am absolutely with you - I can nearly guarantee this didn't happen. If a student did that AND was kicked out of the game for it, they also would have been subjected to the BYU standards and honor code if they were a student and the kid would have had hell to pay and would have hung him out to dry. Didnt happen.
I would say that Utah is probably not , in general a particularly bigoted place, even though Ive only been a couple of times. Didnt a Black lady get elected to the house of representatives in a literally all white district there?
B, I’ve got black clients in their 30s and 40s who are enthralled with racism. I had 3 black clients at the same time who said they’re experiencing microaggression at their jobs. If their boss raised their voice, it’s racism or microaggression…if the boss tells them their work isn’t up to par, then it’s racism or microaggression. It’s ridiculous!
This girl is a trouble maker. My granddaughter was one of only two black students in high school. She was the class president for 4 years, captain of the basketball team, straight A's and scholarships to college where she is studying to be a psychiatrist. She never let a single word bother her because she is focused and fueled by positive energy!!!
@@lisadavis8909 you are not listening. She didn’t say her granddaughter didn’t experience racism, she said she didn’t let it bother her because she was focused on positive energy. You, on the other hand sound like someone fueled by negative energy.
She needs to be held accountable for this. Crying "Wolf" like this has it's own repercussions. The next time, when something like this happens for real, they won't be believed.
I grew up with black kids as an Asian, my best friend in grade school was black. We walked to school every school day through high school. Never heard any racial slurs during that time. This was in a northwest state and I know it's different in the south because I've experienced it. If you don't talk about being white and black and yellow or brown, racism won't exist.
And she clearly does not care, because she won't face responsibility for it in our current broken system. *She's due for a cosmic spanking that will reduce her coccyx to powder.*
I'm from a small "white" town in the South.Yelling a racial slur at a game would not fly. It just wouldn't happen today - UNLESS it slipped out from someone of her own race. Still unlikely but possible. This generation will go down as the lost victims of history. I hope we can get beyond this period quickly. Much love, Fam.
If the nword was yelled by anyone in any public setting, it be like a record scratch and everyone would stop what they're doing. There's no way someone was yelling racial slurs at this woman and nobody heard it.
Man you nailed it with your point around creating racism. These people are creating it with their fixation on it and non-stop need to 'find' it everywhere. Love your content.
Unlike certain religions RU-vid would likely delete my post for naming, I find it extremely encouraging and edifying to see so many black content creators openly calling out double-standards and the bad actors in their community/demographic. Problems like these require frankness and honesty before anything can be done to fix them, and the kind of bullshit that has dominated media discourse on these issues has only allowed these problems to fester. God willing, all this grassroots pushback and attempts to set the record straight will lead to actual progress. God bless :)
Yep, BYU has reviewed countless amounts of footage from the game and didn't find anyone yelling racial slurs! This girl should be made to publicly apologize and lose her scholarship! I'm so sick of these entitled people and their hoaxes for attention!
Whatever she THOUGHT she heard (but she didn’t) there are PLENTY of other ways to handle this without making a national “racist“ issue. Idea #1: ask teammate(s)! “Did YOU hear someone call out/me n***er?”…or … “Do me a favor and listen up the next time we play that side” Idea #2: Shake it off!
100% and actually race has never mattered. Never in history except for the 1960s until now has race ever played a part in anything. Everything else was about perceived culture. What religion you believed in and what language you spoke. I've never seen actual racism. I do live near the end of the underground railroad so maybe that's why but I've only heard a few dumb people say they hate white people or black people..
I was the only black swimmer on my team. The place where we practice allowed us to dress in one of their locker room. When I got down to the pool the coach came up to me and blamed me for cussing out old white men. So, he really gave me hell. My teamates after he finished said we were with Money the whole time and he said nothing like that to anyone. The coach remembered my attitude and knew it was meant to kick me and the teamates out of the locker room. They lied!? Turn around is fair play.
Absolutely no punishment. Should be charged with attempting to incite a riot. If not, people won't stop doing this to get attention and notoriety. The guy she pointed out by her should sue her and Duke.
I am a BYU Alumni and was an athlete on BYU's soccer team from 2011-2013. I can tell you right now that if someone was yelling racial slurs from the stands at an Athlete from a visiting University that the other students standing by would have gotten that person kicked out. The students, staff and coaches would not stand for that for even a minute. The whole purpose of BYU as a private Christian University is to teach that we are ALL the children of God. There are stupid people everywhere, even at BYU but if this actually happened, others would have heard it and said something. There is no way this is true. 0% chance.
You may have hit upon something. She may be trying to claim she was “attacked by a white Christian male.” That sure smells like agenda when you include her statement about “Educating the student body.”
Been around this planet for almost 40 years and being of mixed race I always had friends of all races. From my experiences the biggest group of racists in America is the black community. Not passing judgment it's just an observation. I have never seen some white person be openly racist. However I can't even count how many times I have heard black people being openly racist without a care in the world. Just sick of all the racism from all races. It's such a waste of energy. We're all one race and that's human PERIOD
Some mixed race people exacerbate the race issue more than anyone. Colin Kaepernick is half white, one quarter Jewish (look at his nose) and one quarter black. But he struts around with his big afro, black leather, trying to look more black, and most people fall for it. Same with Smollett, Jessie Williams and many others. They over compensate to their black side.
She was literally at BYU, the most straight laced school there is. These people don’t drink caffeine, smoke, cuss, sex before marriage, etc. Nobody in that crowd is yelling racial slurs and if there was, these Mormons would lose their damn minds!!!!
I attend byu and everyone here is calling bs. It’s like no one in that section heard anything. BYU security reviewed all the footage and cell phone footage and can’t find anything 🤷🏼♂️
not only didnt they find anything confirming her story but they also found video proof that the accused & kicked out dude wasnt even there when it allegedly happend xD
As a 32 year old white man with white friends, I can tell you that you are very correct. I nor my friends think about black people. But for that matter we don't think about white people, Chinese people, or anyone else. We think about making money and succeeding. I don't have time for racism or worrying about people who I have no control over or that I don't know. I love my friends and family regardless of skin color. But to be real, like most Americans, I don't have my life straight so I'm way too busy worried about my own mistakes and shortcomings to be worried about anyone else's that isn't in my immediate group.
I love it when people say, "why would she lie?" It's the easiest argument to counter... because people lie for attention all the time. Also, if she is an activist, it keeps the conversation going. Imagine being in a volleyball game and being the only person that hears someone yell that? That would mean you are so hyperfocused on the subject of racism, that it controls your life and is more important than anything else. Why would the police review the video? Administratively the schools can do something about it, but you can't criminally charge someone... it's protected speech. I think it's absolutely a disgusting thing to say, but our first amendment gives people the right to say it.
money...it's a cash grab and publicity for her Godmother who is running to be a judge down in Texas who was the one who originally made the complaint public.
I was mugged in a walmart parking lot one time, the cops would not even look at the video, they didnt care. Someone claims the N word was used, all stops are pulled 10 detectives are put on the case.
Love your videos! I appreciate your demeanor on these subjects. I am 50 YO white male and I think your videos are great. I Work in Emergency Medical Services and treat everyone like they are my mother, brother, sister etc etc, everyone is the same, we are all human regardless of skin color but I must agree that sometimes dealing with black people they might pull the race card with me just because they want too. I dont feel there is racism in this country. I feel there are people who create it out of thin air because they arent happy with the cards they were dealt. People like this woman should be banished from college and college sports forever...she talks about educating people about racism...lets start with her punishment and make it so severe that no other college student will ever think about accusing an innocent person of racial slurs. If the punishments were severe these things would go away. That goes for all crime
The real shame is that this beautiful young lady who should be enjoying her college experience, has now brought the wrath of so many people down on herself with her obvious lie. Did she think everyone was just going to believe it? Whatever pressure she's feeling, is much deserved. I'm thinking that she's wishing she had never cooked up this BS story.
I believe it was a father of two kids kicked out….and he is on video not being in the student section during the time she said it happened. Sorry ass liar! I hate innocent people getting wronged.
@@slartybarfastb3648 Yes and if it’s proven she lied I hope he will sue her and those who threw him out for defamation of character and discrimination.

Go Ahead and Fill It Out Since the Lying Little Skank Made It About Race: One Black Woman, Accusing One White Man, Got Him Banned For Life, and Some Of His Freedom Taken Away; Simply Over a #Word Which BTW He Most Likely Almost Surely Didn't Even Say
Man ...We get suckered by MSM so often I never even considered this angle but its so true...If someone...anyone were to yell that loud enough for her to hear it then would not EVRYONE around the person yelling it hear it? Would not there be names ,faces, witnesses of the event to go after and prove her claim. Lord....what have we come to in the Country? False accusations are WORSE than the actual crime would be...it divides us all for NO reason.
My brother dated a young woman who was mixed: white father, black mother. My brother eventually broke up with her because he said she was constantly saying that everything bad that happened in her life was because she was black (even though she was mixed). The final straw was when the restaurant that they went to told them they had to wait thirty minutes for a table. She told my brother it was because she was black so they were discriminating against her. It's honestly ridiculous.
@@ethanelston4314 Why are you assuming that I'm white/ "pale faced". My point was she needed to stop saying everything was because of her race. Everyone has to wait for some amount of time at a restaurant. It's not just her
Yea that’s bs I’m white engaged to a black woman I have witnessed her getting told racial shit but never have we been some where’s where they discriminated against us bc she’s white the things I’ve heard were when they didn’t see us together are didn’t think we were together and told her shit and I blew them tf down but when they see us together no one says shit it’s sad as fuck that there’s still racism in this world today smfh
You are 100% right in everything you said. Unfortunately what is happening is taking race relations back decades by stoking racism. It is so sad and dangerous.
Especially around BYU students. BYU students are so eager to rat someone out even for the dumbest things like they're not shaving as often as they should. There is 0% chance someone said this around BYU students and nobody said anything.
By the way, go to a sporting event and yell the N word and see what happens to you. there would be an immediate response from the crowd around you who would now turn on you and a commotion would break out in the stands. The fact that she is claiming someone yelled that word at her with without any response from anyone is extremely hard to believe.
When I played football, I got called "cracker", "honky", etc. I've walked in to stores in Chicago and I was told, "You need to leave white boy." Does that mean I dealt with racism? Do we need to deal with educating black people on how to not be racist? I mean, I suppose. Or, and here's the real mind-screw, you learn that some people suck and you go on about your day.
That is the reality in which we live. The left has used race as a means to malign, control, and subject entire populations. They have learned nothing from their loss in the Civil War and Civil Rights. They want their slaves back.
You obviously missed the memo: black people cant be racist. You need to check your privilege and be aware of the fear and terror you likely caused by your mere presence. After all, we only abolished slavery 150 years ago…they could’ve been snatched up by whitey. Or they could’ve become victims of white-on-black violence at any moment. It must be terrifying being a POC in this awful country. 😢
She knew exactly what she was doing. I’d bet dollars to donuts her Godmother hatched this scenario with her to start her political career and help her own.
She knew that she could get the spotlight and possibly make bank off of being a victim. Especially at a prestigious university. They should definitely sue her.
Nothing prestigious about this place, they threw their Lacrosse team under the bus awhile back. Nothing smart about someone that only knows 1 skill in life, but can't function with anyone else or do anything else but whine. That is your college education at work lol. I can only hope this young man that was kicked for just being there, and messing with his phone 40% of the game. Sues the crap out of them, and the media. This is the second time they have jumped the gun on someone. After knowing this guy was the wrong person, they still have him banned from any events. this is because the message is more important then losing money. Hollywood plays this game also with movies that are bad, but the message counts lol.
