Follow Vickie Mather as she takes us on a live tour of the Dulux Academy facilities in Slough - the home of painting and decorating excellence training courses in the UK!
At our Dulux Academy facilities we take a very hands-on approach to learning in our decorating courses. Right from the get-go in our main entrance you’ll be able to familiarise yourself with our colour of the year “Bright Skies” before moving though to our Colour Studio to see various painting and wallpapering techniques applied in a practical setting with displays and practice areas.
We then move on to our Spray Theatre with practice booths, set up for training in practical sessions and featuring equipment from some of our key suppliers to make sure that we’re always up to date with any new tools of the trade.
Finally moving on to our Skills Zone, where delegates on painter and decorator courses can really get to grips with some more intricate areas to learn everything you’ll need for interior decorator training. From filling and prepping to painting and finishing, all in areas designed to simulate real environments such as with rooms with windows, fireplaces, stairways and archways.
This facility tour is part of the @TradeDecorator Festival, one of a series of Virtual Industry Gatherings, streamed live from the 28th Feb-11th March 2022.
