I'm not a Connor fan actually kinda dislike him but 'what's he done?' Are you kidding?! First guy ever to hold two belts at the same time, iconic Aldo ko in sub 15 secs, brought the world to MMA, the enormity of the UFC currently. Yeah, he's fallen off loads, but his career was electric and legendary at its peak and no one else can remotely come close to having anywhere near the same amount of impact as Connor did. "What's he done?" .... c'mon. Horrible take.

The askren knockout was NOT the fight where his forehead was broken and caved in, that was Michael Venom Page vs Cyborg... however, the knee that Askren took did break his collarbone quite badly

McGregor is actually 1 of 3 or 4 double champs. He got the belt in 2 divisions. He also knocked out one of the best to ever do it, Jose Aldo, in like 10 seconds. Jose was on like a 10 year unbeaten championship streak until Conor came. Whether it was luck in the beginning or the booger sugar got the best of him in the end, his losing streak at the end kind of tarnished his incredible start to his career.

There's money in talking trash. Muhammad Ali learned this from a wrestler named George Wagner. Stage name "Gorgeous George." In one event George said if he was to lose against Classy Freddie Blassie, “I’ll crawl across the ring and cut my hair off! But that’s not gonna happen because I’m the greatest wrestler in the world,” he said. Ali recalled being at the match and said, “I saw 15,000 people comin’ to see this man get beat. And his talking did it. I said, ‘This is a good idea!" In the locker room afterward, George told Clay, “A lot of people will pay to see someone shut your mouth. So keep on bragging, keep on sassing and always be outrageous.” Ali followed suit. And so it began.

Brilliant take. Ali was such a different beast of trash talker though, but different time. Talk about how pretty he was and how ugly his opponent was. Took on Foreman's heavy hands and Rope-a-Dope'd him... wrote bars about how he was going to embarrass and dominate... and then did. Its a very different angle, but I still re re re re watch Billy Crystal's eulogy to Ali every few months. Know it front to back but he does state in it that its nice to see the clips... but to LIVE in that time... experience it real time, is a different thing. I only got to see Ali at the end and my In My Time was more Tysons ferocity. But Ali was a glorious fighter, a good man, and a smooth trash talker who didn't take it to the opponents fam, heritage, religion, etc. Thanks for the callback!

Garbrandt was trained for years first and foremost to beat Cruz, using coaches that had previously worked with him. It became glaringly obvious when he's since been completely unable to replicate that kind of performance against any other top fighter in the division. In particular he's gotten knocked out multiple times with almost identical setups.😬

I live in Las Vegas Nevada, and a LOT of my family was at first disgusted with me when I told them that I had bet on Holly Holm in that fight at a 19 to 1 payoff, and they had all bet on Rhonda Rousey with a 3 to 2 payoff if she had won, BUT after the fight, when I went and collected my $6,000 plus dollars, they were no longer disgusted with me.

I was on the RhondaWagon for a spell as I respected her Olympic career and the subs were undeniable... knew she'd get caught at some point but she took a tone that left me hoping Holly would school her. Yelled when she ducked under Rhonda's punch that make RR fall, and cheered that perfectly unexpected kick that came after Rhonda tried to out box a legit boxer. Glad you made bank on that.

What has McGregor ever done? He just held to belts at once. Only like 3-4 people ever have done that. The UFC's top 10 best ppv numbers McGregor has like 8 of them. He took ufc to a new level. Yes he hasn't done anything since losing to khabib but he's still the biggest name in the ufc.

Despite not liking Connor McGregor I have to say as a fighter he was the first ever double champ in the UFC. He K.I’d Jose Aldo who was the king of 145 at the time. So I mean he has had big moments in the UFC. After the Mayweather Fight and payday he’s been disappointing.

I don’t love Conner, but to say what’s he ever done? Beat some of the greatest fighters in the world and became a champion in 2 weight classes. In boxing that’s common because they have more weight classes with fewer pounds separating them. In the UFC that’s a big deal that not too many have accomplished. That’s what he’s done.

The explanation of the Conor Khabib fight was false. Conor stuffed almost all of khabibs takedowns, hit him with some of the hardest shots khabibs ever been hit with. It was much closer than how the guy described

Incorrect. Took him down 3/7 times. Khabib had 71 significant strikes to Conors 51. 12 minutes of control for Khabib, where as Conor had 0. Stick to sports you know.

And no the fight wasn't all that competetive, Khabib was winning the entire fight. You just didnt like the fact that I called you out on your lack on knowledge and false statements.
