As Harley and Ivy spend a night together, they encounter a living and healthy Joker. Ivy attempts to eliminate him, but Harley believes he has genuinely changed. To prove it, she recounts how she met Ivy and the Joker, narrating how she positively influenced Ivy. In a flashback, prosecutor Harvey Dent and Commissioner Gordon ask Dr. Harleen Quinzel to interview the Joker about a bomb hidden in Gotham. Despite a challenging initial encounter, Harleen, inspired by a resentful Ivy, inquir3s about Joker's family. He shares a poignant tale of his abusive father to win her trust, revealing the bomb's location in Little Italy in exchange for a private meal. While Batman and authorities are distracted, Joker discloses the bomb's placement on the prison chef, "Little Italy," attempting to kidnap Harleen. Ivy rescues her in exchange for a plant Harleen gave her. After Harley's recollection, Ivy reveals that the Joker's story was actually hers. Doctor Psycho confirms Joker's lack of memory of his former self.
