Dw he isn't dead, although he risked his life for those the 999 have been bothering. He turned into his powerful form which happens to be his bad side. Once he transforms back, there is a 50% he'll unalive. He wanted that to happen, as he wanted to leave the world with his last good bye. He always felt like he caused problems and this was his way to fix some. He just hopes that everyone can get a normal life.
