Fighters aren't known for being necessarily the smartest out there, so I took a few examples of recent moments where fighters have done stupid things. Whether it be antics/behaviour outside the octagon, or an in octagon decision, these are some of the dumbest moments by fighters

The ultimate embarassment regarding Jones is how willing people are to ignore everything he's done so they can keep saying he's the GOAT. Especially when other fighters' legacies, like Dillashaw's, were immediately tarnished by their actions but Jones somehow keeps getting a pass.

@@AirLancer I could not agree with you not. I’ve been done with jones for a long time. He’s just all around trash. And I think he’s bad for the sport. I’m talking way beyond just holding up a division. The guy is such a notorious cheater and criminal yet he always gets a pass, or they change the rules for him, or move an entire event. Its ridiculous. Reasons like that are why MMA will never be recognized as a legitimate sport like the NFL or the NBA. It will always be a side show

It WOULD be pretty funny if Buckley went full Shannon Briggs on Conor. Following him around screaming "LET'S GO CHAMP". Actually, if Buckley somehow made it to top 5/top 6, he could do that to the champ at that time. But otherwise, I'm not even remotely supporting Buckley's actions. No, he can't KO GSP. Just like Cub said, better and much more skilled men have tried and failed. Yes, Matt Serra did it, but that was before GSP's prime aka before he got monumentally better.

That's not the reason why volk fought Islam. Legacy matter more than money and he could've advanced the combination of both money and legacy had he had a full camp and won against Islam arguably. It was a dumb decision, period.
