I would say VERY DIFFERENT definitions..🤦🏻 Me: eating ramen and Mac n cheese till pay day Them: need a new rolls so they can drive to mansion after landing at the private airport
@@matthewdurkee5673 like in the Dark Knight Rises when Selina says "the rich don't even go broke like the rest of us." That's what this video reminded me of. If your bank account ain't on zero and you haven't started skipping meals then you're not BROKE
These rappers forget they gotta pay the label back alllllllllllllll that money 💲 back off of record are streaming so they need to wise the (F"*k) up and learn the business of the music 🎵 industry it's not just singing a song it's serious money involved and they want & going to get it back one way or another just a word to the Wise and 1 Day your hot 🔥 then not so how you plan on paying these labels back dummies not all. Very intelligent 🧠 rappers but The ignorant ones in a world 🌎 of pain this is from experience running my own label back in the day. I'm still owed money
@@michaelknight8276It's fine if you don't listen to these artist's music, but calling people "degenerates" just because they listen to music that you don't? Really?
Fat joe is the message that everyone in the rap game should take heed from & listen and learn from him and his experiences (he had it and lost it all more than once & he trusted his financial advisor with his money not knowing that it was them who were robbing him blind👀
Kanye is only worth a half a billion now? Damn he really took a hit with that Adidas deal went south. But I have a really hard time calling someone completely broke when they're still worth 500 million dollars.
They weren't buying them, they leasing them and not paying, moral of the story, the only people that have to have a high credit score, for the rich, it doesn't matter if you file bankruptcy 10 times, get everything repossessed, the very next day banks and everyone else is trying to give you more stuff that people know you can't afford.
I’m grossing $700.00 a week, and my net pay is $590.00, I am definitely grateful for my jewelry I buy from Marshalls, and my scrubs I get from the goodwill ❤️
@@atlnla4112 Education has different fields and most basic educational teachings dont necessarily teach you how to live life or teach you the ways of utilizing money.
It’s dope that Fat Joe tries to talk to younger rappers abt what not to do…whether they listen or not is totally up to them but at least he tries to impart the wisdom 💯
Y’all should have just said hip hop culture. Y’all don’t know the difference between a rapper, a singer, a producer, or a personality/influencer 🤦🏽♂️.
Everyone he named legit can still go book a show and probably make more than most people do a year. They rich still but just not as rich as other big name rappers atm
The Island Boys definitely couldn't. They were considered a joke and made a lot of money off of that, until everybody realized that they were actually serious and didn't realize that everybody thought they were a joke.
Do the courts ever reject a bankruptcy filing request and why credits ontinue to extend credit to people who file for bankruptcy instead of paying their bills
You too could be the next jackpot winner! Play with lucky Irish numbers# 7, 25, 34, 53, 64 & 14 one ticket, once a week up until your birthday ... Good luck!
actually if you were to just hand millions to any educated person with degrees, they'd blow it all on cars and houses and go bankrupt. It happens to lottery winners all the time. People are just too inclined to buy stuff they don't need and the fact that credit card debt is huge in america shows it.
They should pay off a place put some money back n pay off a car n supply it with the needs for the worst, but they try to keep up with Hollywood cause it's expected, but they don't think of all the taxes n instead of financing they need to just buy out right, but to young n uneducated of the life style n coming from poverty they lose it all.
The one thing that makes Rap special is that it doesn't take talent or looks to become popular.Your followers have no appreciation, respect, or understanding of either.Hook on to some temporary, mindless trend and you're gold.
For some reason I've always believed that the reason MC Hammer went broke is b/c he was too nice to the people in his community...hiring them as dancers, bouncers, bodyguards and that he gave to anybody who asked. But after watching this....Hammer, someone should've told you to "not touch this".
As a musician and artist I see allot of rappers going broke by overly spending its dumb I'd be helping with charities before I'd spend it on myself and helping my family and music 💯
The advance check isn't a payout, its a loan, so you have to pay it all back before you make A CENT. - im not a rapper, but a dancer (agency contracts are the same)
Funny, how the normal person declares bankruptcy once and it ruins their life but if you’re a supposedly famous person, you can declare bankruptcy over and over again with no repercussions!
Most, or even all of the people who became over night my rich didn't had money their entire live. Who would have thought they don't know how to handle the money? Not surprised.
I used to wear a Santa suit and buy gifts and walk around with a bag handing out those gifts to total strangers. They call me the son of Xmas. I am Mr.X
Being broke, in my opinion, also refers to being spiritually broken. Bankruptcy in and of itself occurs when relationships go south and people detest you or pursue litigation against you.
This whole video could have been about MC Hammer, because he had that billionaire energy popping off. His story is sensational enough for a whole movie.
@marioncharleston I meant "AIGHT" preferentially speaking. It's an Ebonics term. And BTW "sheesh" is slang, improperly used per your response 🤷🏽♀️. I'm very well-versed in the usage of words & expressions. Don't be fooled.
It's so sad that these people feel like they have to have all the glitz and frills in the belief that the fame & money will never dry up. Simply hiring (and listening to) a good accountant and having routine audits would mean they would have been set for life.
