Had a friend who died laughing he was watching a movie with his nephew started laughing fell off bed was dead when he hit the floor. If you knew him it was the perfect way for him to pass he had a great sense of humor. RIP Bobby.
His parents should have known better than to let him anywhere near that window without supervision. Mine made sure that I knew what I had better not do and no, they didn't smack me around.
Back in 1984, when I was 15, three of my friends and myself, had smoked a joint and afterwards decided that we should get some burgers from the place across the street. I drew the short straw, and went over to get the burgers. In the time where I was gone, two of my friends decided to tip over a coke machine, to either get sodas out or get money out, I'm not quite sure. The machine ended up landing on my one friend's head, crushing it. So when I came back, I was greeted by the blood, of my now dead friend, draining out from underneath that tipped over coke machine. To make matters worse, as I turned around to step out of the laundromat, and away from that grotesque scene, where the incident had occurred, I saw his mother, who I had known all my life, running towards me up the sidewalk. She had been told by someone in the neighborhood, that something had happened to her son. Unfortunately, I found myself in the uncomfortable and unexpected position, of having to tell her, that her son, and my friend, was dead. WORST HIGH EVER! Only weeks later, I started seeing the warning signs placarded on vending machines, not to tip them.
I'm a teenager and I have to take away my over 50yr old MOM'S phone because she will text and drive nonstop, I literally have to CONFISCATE HER PHONE while I'm in the car... I guess it isn't only the young kids doing it, it's everyone...
Aparently when my uncle was four he took the cover from my mums pram and decided it was a cape, some soldiers then told him he'd fly if he jumped off a block of flats. My grandad stopped him just in time. It was nearly a dumb way to die...for the soldiers - my grandad was their comanding officer!
Is it bad that I started laughing when I heard "death by laugh"?, its mainly because I have laughed over 20 minutes straight before (numerous times) and It just brought back some memories. And gave me a little joy for some reason to hear "death by laugh"
Whenever I occassionally use my phone in the tub, I think of that one girl a few years ago who died from using her phone while it was charging, then dropping it in. *YET* I *STILL* use it, with that thought in my head, haunting me.

My humour isn't so great either in all fairness. However I looked up the clips in question after commenting on this. Was still expecting something a little funnier. A lot funnier I'd say. But each to their own humour I'd say. At least they went out on a high?

This largely depends on how the charger is constructed and how the house is wired. The problem is not so much about the voltage supplied by the charger as it is with the fact that a failure of the charger (depending on the charger circuitry) might cause the "hot" wire from the outlet to be connected to the water more or less directly. Most metal plumbing is connected to "ground" (often literally the ground). If you have a path from the "hot" wire to "ground", there will be a 110V-220V difference (depending on the region). Most of the charger's circuitry is being bypassed (again, depending on the specific design). In a modern US home, outlets near water sources (like in a kitchen or bathroom) are required to be connected through a ground fault circuit interuptor (GFCI). This helps prevent electrocution, because any current coming from the "hot" wire that does not go back through the outlet (in other words, it found a different path to ground, like through your body) will cause the circuit to turn off very quickly. This is good, but still don't use plugged in appliances of any sort in or around the tub. It's a very bad habit considering that some homes were built before these laws were in place (or in regions without such laws).
Death by train is (arguably) one of the most gruesome deaths to see. Maybe experiencing it wouldn’t be as bad science it would end very fast, but it would be very brutal.

One minor clarification is needed. The Tidepod Challenge is not to actually eat the pods, but just to see how many a person can stuff into their mouth. The problems come when a person's teeth accidentally pierce the pod, causing them to swallow the detergent. This normally results in the person trying to cough up the detergent, when then causes very bad side effects to the throat.
