A Kitty Hawk Custom is an amp from the 80´s. Some people claim, that there was a cooperation between Howard Dumble and the guys from the Kitty Hawk company to provide Dumble-like amps in Europe. Wether this is true or not, these amps are influenced by early Mesa Boogies, that’s plain to see. Manufactured only in a small amount of numbers, these handmade amplifiers are pretty rare these days. This video shows a lot of details of these rare birds, and a repair and overhaul after 40 years.
